I had been a lurker for quite some time, but the impeachment was over and I wanted to attend the House Managers Dinner so much it hurt. It was then that I registered with FreeRepublic and began posting. I watched in my tiny computer screen as generous freepers who were there posted pictures and video links.

I didn't get to attend the dinner in person, but I did get to experience it and many other wonderful functions through my good friends at Free Republic. It was through Free Republic that I learned about Jim Rogan's Memorial Day Rally in 1999. I was able to attend this one, and I sped home in my evil SUV to share the experience with my friends here online. I was able to attend Judicial Watch's fifth anniversary events in Pasadena, and I am now a regular at my own Congressman's Town Hall meetings. I am better informed and therefore a better American because of FreeRepublic. I also don't feel like I'm all alone in the world. It was my Mom who first turned me on to Free Republic, and she was a lurker until recently. Can you guess who she is?
