Most Shooters In Chicago Don't Face Charges
DNAinfo.com Chicago ^ | Jan. 24, 2013 | Mark Knokol

It’s getting easier to get away with shooting people in Chicago.

Last year, gunmen who shot and wounded someone got away without criminal charges 94 percent of the time, according to a DNAinfo.com Chicago analysis of police data.

That’s even worse than 2011, when 91.5 percent of shooters escaped charges, according to the data.

Chicago’s top cop said the “no-snitch” code of silence on the street is the biggest contributor in his department’s struggle to charge shooters. (My emphasis)

And why does the "no snitching" code work so well? Because, dear reader, the Chicago powers that be and the Obama regime have decided not to do an aggressive stop and frisk program for people illegally carrying guns and are not effectively prosecuting those whom they do catch. If they just started sending every banger they caught with a gun away on the toughest sentence they could come up with, they'd all of a sudden find a lot of people who are very talkative and start clearing those crimes. Of course, that would offend the gangs, the bought politicians, the bought preachers, the civil libertarians, the "civil rights" movement, the whole Chicago government establishment that's in cahoots with the gangs, and, last but not least, the Obama Regime. It's a lot easier to slander and persecute innocent gun owners than go after real criminals.

They don’t face charges because of the strong gun control in Illinois which makes it illegal for bad guys to have guns. Therefore, they could not have shot anyone.....(s)...

"If they just started sending every banger they caught with a gun away on the toughest sentence they could come up with..."

If they did that, the Democrat Party would lose most of its voting constituency, and then who would run Chicago?

When a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, the tree never fell, now did it?

Also note that the Cook County DA often tells the police to go back and get more information before bothering him.

One suspects that probably half the shooters in question work for a subsidiary of the Chicago Mafia, headed by Barry’s Godfather himself.

After all, they wouldn’t want to arrest their own guys, would they? Just for doing their jobs?

Sorry. “Stop and Frisk” violates Fourth Amendment rights.

Fourth Amendment
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Chicago’s top cop said the “no-snitch” code of silence on the street is the biggest contributor in his department’s struggle to charge shooters.

Except for independents, which they do prosecute, the “no snitch” rest are part of the Chicago Political and Mob organization.

Stop and frisk is just as offensive to me as the Illinois attitude to RKBA and especially CCW. I would not lament the lack of stop and frisk for these problems. Most big cities don’t have S & F and they don’t have the rate of murder and mayhem that Chicago does either.

As someone who has lived next door to made members of the Chicago Outfit going back to 1962, I find your post offensive.

No self respecting mobster would willingly associate with 0bama-like scum.

The reason is that the cops and most LEO’s follow the path of least resistance.
It is a lot less dangerous to disarm granny than it is to disarm some punk thug who WILL fire on the cops and isn’t afraid to die.

Roger the 4th Amendment comment.

Additionally, the concept that any American citizen could be “illegally carrying guns” does violence to the Second.

The solution?

Repeal all infringing laws all the way back to NFA1934, and let people obtain the means to defense.

There will be an uptick “gun violence”. It will eventually taper off, and more of the dead will be the aggressors than defenders (who right now are defensless).

As always, IMHO, YMMV. But I’m pretty sure about it.

While most Chicargo shooters face no charges, watch for increased enforcement of anybody killing Skeet, especially with the wrong firearm and/or wrong magazine and/or wrong number of rounds in said magazine.

“Sorry. “Stop and Frisk” violates Fourth Amendment rights.”

Simple.

Just give them a “tour” of the O’Hare Airport terminal, with a brief detour through TSA.

Voila! Pesky 4th Amendment problems solved!

Well, I said that many of these guys probably worked for a “subsidiary” of the Outfit, not the Mafia itself. Not entirely under their control, but respecting certain understood territorial and other limits. I believe that South Chicago is pretty much farmed out to such guys.

I had a friend who lived in Brooklyn Heights near a couple of guys who were made members, back in the old days. He said that no ordinary muggers would dare venture onto that block.

Also, I believe that Mayor Daley was replaced by Rahm Emmanuel, presumably with someone’s approval.

Democrats and RINOS
GOD DENIERS AND CONGENITAL LIARS
ARE REDISTRIBUTE WEALTH INCITERS/
FOR FIRST YOUR MONEY THEN YOUR GUNS
AND BE DEFENSELESS WHEN CROOKS COME

Conservatives and supporters of the 2nd amendment the Obama regime is using the 2nd amendment argument to blame gun owners for its inability to deal with the hundreds of gangland murders and shootings commited in areas under their solid control using illegally obtained firearms.

Obama’s solution to those inner city problems is to remove those rights provided by the constitution to have and bear arms from all US citizens before any search an seizure begins in those troublesome areas which by the way will never happen.

But none of those 23 so called “reforms” and unconstitutional efforts being edicted by who some call an emperor do not deal with the following issues briefly outlined below let alone insane shooters using stolen weapons. .

They won’t because instead of creating a uniformly democratic society where every citizen has an equal voice no matter what their race or ethnicity.

Obama’s policies have divided races and ethnic groups gerrymandering congressional districts where much of this criminal activity occurs.

GOPES {G-overment O-f (the) P-eople (republican party) E-lite-S} see this issue as a 3rd rail because most of it is black on black or illegal vs illegal (Mexican) activity .

GOPES are also afraid to say that policy also increased racial tension which has resited in deaths. But again GOPES accept this because of the influence of mainline socialist media which would be accusing them of “racism” if they dare to question it.

The purpose of all this hype on guns is to keep the right and conservatives focused on what the Demo-Coms describe as issues through their propaganda arm known as the MSM (mainline socialist media) not on the problems created by the “Libs” on their road of good intentions or the socialist/fascists/communists successors to comtrol over todays Democrat party;

Which is the cost ,waste, and corruption of this administration which had led to a 16 trillion dollar deficit.

Not one word addresses or offers a solution about the hundreds of gangland murders and shootings using illegaly obtained mostly handguns and revolvers .

Perpetuating the general populations ignorance and using code words like “assault rifles” they’re demonizing single shot per trigger pull semi automatic rifles, used for small game hunting or target practice. That are legal in every state but made to look like their military counterpart..

Military AR’s since Viet Nam and a DOD decision ARs are really medium caliber (22.3) machine guns designed to wound not necessarilly kill which is why they are automatic and fire as many rounds that are in its magazine once the trigger is kept in the pulled position.

They replace quick kill 30 caliber semi automatic (single shot) M-1, Springfield rifles and carbines used during WWII and Korea and approved in most states for use in big game hunting.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2977901/posts NY Post pix of shooter using handgun

Obama certainly can’t critique a system created by his ilk .Ignored in his 23 edicts is that when once caught, perps get set free with lenient sentencing from “liberal” judges or sob sister plea bargain prosecution (which Obama supports for when a Illinois state senator while introducing legislation to sentence any 15 year old as an adult,(opps they could be fatherless) Obama voted “absent” with others on that roll call vote. But that leniency is promoted by the MSM,The New York Times CNN, NBC and,ABC. There’s certainly no criticism of “no snitch” mentality partcularly in areas where these shootings are rampant.

It would be nice at these rallys if conservatives would point these facts out to Obamas adoring public.

No one is going to snitch when they can’t defend themselves. People can be shot anywhere since they can’t carry a weapon for self-defense.

The police does not start a war with the gangs because it cannot win. If the gangs kill just one LEO every day, from a safe distance or from a prepared ambush, the killers will not be caught, but the morale in police's ranks will drop so low that people will be quitting en masse - nobody wants to die for no reason, after all. So the police simply knows its limits.

Yup, and I’d love to see the TSA shut down.

Airlines, on the other hand, have a right to say what comes onto their planes. You don’t have to submit, and you don’t have to fly...

“Airlines, on the other hand, have a right to say what comes onto their planes.”

Airlines are NOT the problem!

If the airlines were handling security, it would be effective at keeping out the crazies and would not major in offending & alienating ALL of their customers.

TSA is the agency of an elitist, power hungry government. TSA is about the conditioning of subservient, submissive subjects.

Why the TSA was brought up is that, over the years we have seen and is still seeing, sadly, the TRASHING of our Constitution.
