Today’s entertainment is absolute garbage. I think it either reflects or helps create a decadent society, probably both.

The state of morality in the U.S. is awful and that is being generous.

I try my best to avoid today’s entertainment. Usually the only time I encounter it is when I’m stuck out-of-town in some motel room, and turn on the tv out of sheer boredom. It never fails to knock me for a loop, how wildly putrid and degenerate the culture has indeed become. It’s an abject cesspool.

Invariably it leaves me wondering for days as to why I even bother with matters of politics and civics. Why would I even want to lift a finger to help preserve a country as morally bankrupt as to have this kind of deviant swill for its preferred entertainment? To hell with it.
