I try my best to avoid today’s entertainment. Usually the only time I encounter it is when I’m stuck out-of-town in some motel room, and turn on the tv out of sheer boredom. It never fails to knock me for a loop, how wildly putrid and degenerate the culture has indeed become. It’s an abject cesspool.

Invariably it leaves me wondering for days as to why I even bother with matters of politics and civics. Why would I even want to lift a finger to help preserve a country as morally bankrupt as to have this kind of deviant swill for its preferred entertainment? To hell with it.

I still watch a lot of TV but it is mainly restricted to things like “The History Channel” old movies, Jeopardy etc.

I am getting a whole bunch of free movies for this weekend and there has not been a single one all weekend that I really want to watch. A very high percentage of them are nothing more than pure propaganda disguised as entertainment and you know which side they are on.
