Maybe back in the early eighties! I'll have to call your bluff because I was a divorced single mom back in the eighties. NO child support, yet I managed to not alienate my children from their father and raise them to be decent, productive adults.

Most "single moms" don't have the "dad gene" aka the ability to put their boot up their kids backside. They'd rather be lenient and molly coddle them; especially if it means going against dad's wishes.
