State police are responding to a report of a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dickinson Drive, school officials said.

Police are reporting a number of injured parties. The nature of their injuries is not clear.

We had a teenager bust into our classroom when I was in high school with a hunting knife, he was shouting something but I don’t recall what it was and was headed right for the middle of us. He only made it about two steps in before a big farmboy in the back of the room where the exit door was didn’t use it... instead he literally launched himself over the front row students and crashed into the guy pulling him to the ground. The rest of us followed while the teacher flapped her arms, all flustered. The teen got the pummeling of his life before another instructor started peeling everyone off of the guy.

Not to sound heartless because my heart breaks for these kids and parents but look at how predictable people are. The entire news cycle is now all this all the time for the next week. Whenever children are involved in any capacity people lose all ability to reason. My FB feed is now a competition as to who exactly can appear the most emotionally effected by this.
