State police are responding to a report of a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dickinson Drive, school officials said.

Police are reporting a number of injured parties. The nature of their injuries is not clear.

There are unconfirmed reports of two shooters

I hate that it sounds so conspiritorial, but after so many iterations, you start wondering. You start wondering if this stuff is planned at a very high level. .... Just conjecture on my behalf but as per Drudge ... shooter is the father of one of the victims. So it is my guess that this could well be the result of a child custody dispute. The second shooter, if there is one, may be a relative or close friend of the first shooter, possible a son who may be caught up in the emotional fore' of the custody dispute.

Again, that is just my uneducated guess. The situation is still fluid and there may be duplicate information floating around creating the illusion of a second shooter. As information is solidified we will have a better understanding of what indeed did actually happen.

Cops have been notorious bad in the past as far as identifing “second shooters”.

It's not cops, it's bad witnesses.

Pretty much every single mass shooting (and even the recent Oregon Mall shooting) has had bogus reports of multiple shooters, with it turning out to be a lone gunman.

When the police got into the building, they told the children to start running and not stop until they got to the nearby fire station.

That's good and makes sense; get the kids running away. But yet Drudge has a picture up showing kids going single file, holding onto the shoulder of the one in front. Maybe they do that with the younger ones.
