Only 16 Members Can Unseat Boehner, Group Says
Breitbart.com/Big-Government ^ | 12/05/12 | Matthew Boyle

Posted on 12/05/2012 4:06:39 PM PST by Fred

The president and CEO of conservative group American Majority Action (AMA) is demanding Republicans band together to fire House Speaker John Boehner.

“Speaker Boehner has been an abysmal failure as speaker, and his latest purge is the nail in the coffin for conservatives,” AMA’s Ned Ryun said in a statement. “Boehner has never won a negation battle with the White House or Senate—and he’s been nothing short of an embarrassing spokesman for the Conservative Movement. It’s time for him to go.”

Ryun pointed out, too, that if conservatives want to unseat Boehner, they’d only need 16 members to abstain from supporting him in January.

Here’s what.
That vote could open the door to change leadership.

Combine that negative vote against Bonehead, along with a breaking
Bonehead scandal and wham. The ball is a rolling to remove him.
Maybe u love Bonehead. Most of us here don’t.

Okay if you get your sixteen votes, Boehner gets 217, and Pelosi gets 202.

Now what?

A simple majority of the votes becomes the winner.....

This. K Street creep seized control in 2000 and along with Mitch has overseen the decline in the GOP in both houses until
Obama care put him
Back in power .
K street wanted obamacare so this vile slug has not stop the funds !
Bonehead also killed our chances in 2012 by not fighting Obamacare and deflating the base in 2012 .
This K street stooge needs to be driven out at all costs

The idea is that Pelosi gets 218.

Paul Ryan is onboard with what Boehner has been doing. Ryan doesn’t differ politically from Pelosi at all.

and Ryan may have purged teaparty congressmen from his committee, he is not responding to questions at this time

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/12/05/Hensarling-throws-GOP-leadership-under-the-bus-says-he-had-nothing-to-do-with-conservative-purge?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

Officials in the offices of House Speaker John Boehner, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor and House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy refuse to discuss details about a secret criteria list document on the record with press. They won’t release the document either. That document was used to conduct the purge.

It’s still unclear if House Budget Committee chairman Rep. Paul Ryan – the Republican Party’s recent vice presidential candidate – had anything to do with the GOP leadership’s conservative purge. Reps. Tim Huelskamp of Kansas and Justin Amash of Michigan were pulled from Ryan’s committee heading into the next Congress. A spokesman for Ryan hasn’t responded to numerous requests for comment on the matter.

“The Conservative Movement doesn’t realize we only need 16 House votes to block Boehner from becoming Speaker,” Ryun said.

“House rules demand nominees for speaker to receive a majority—at least 218 votes—to win election. If 16 members abstain, Boehner only has 217 votes.”
