The profit motive, the survival motive, the consequences of Obamacare are now being felt in the economy...and get this...liberals are SURPRISED AND OUTRAGED!

Remember, these were the morons who swore they would move away from America if Bush won re-election...and then they didn't.

Conservatives WERE saying all along that if Obamacare isn't repealed, it would kill jobs. Now it IS killing jobs....just as predicted....and the mouth breathers are upset.

liberals are idiots.

It no longer makes any economic sense for a restaurant to hire full time employees. It costs less to hire 2 people for 30 hours than one person for 40 hours.

It is that simple.

Plus jobs move overseas because the government has made doing business in the US too expensive

These were two notable comments.
I censored a comment.

Does it make zero sense to anyone else
that people angry over lay-offs would call for a
boycott? Wouldn’t that lead to MORE lay-offs? I
mean, I know these people haven’t taken an
econ class in their lives, but isn’t that basic
logic?

Even funnier, Applebees doesn’t
take food stamps. How the f*k do
Obama losers boycott it?

I would not be surprised at all if, starting with the next Congress, the Obama administration tries to punish those companies cutting hours to avoid the mandate. It won’t be presented as punishment, of course. But a hopey-changey speech about “thwarting the intent of affordable health care” would mean the same thing. The Senate, having gotten a good deal more liberal after election day, would surely play ball on such a move (Elizabeth Warren probably leading the charge).

Since obiecare describes implementation for full time employees - over 30 hours per week, expect employers to restrict hours per employee to less than 30 hours. That’s a 25% pay cut for each employee affected. Here’s hoping those employees who supported theOne saw that coming.

Gee, if businesses could print money like the federal government does than I would have printed enough to pay my union labor who made up to 3 times more than our competitor’s labor but still did the same work. And guess what - I’d still be in business.

Saw some (and maybe I shouldn’t say this) black guy on FOX yesterday who is part of some government institute (i.e. doesn’t know the first thing about meeting a payroll) and he was pontificating about businesses not firing people due to zero’s re-election. The idiot just didn’t get that maybe these business owners were holding out for hope that help was on the way and when it obviously wasn’t, just like Benghazi come to think of it, then they announced the layoffs.

You do what you have to do.

Why is is that liberals are always surprised when people with assets respond to government attempts to take those assets?

In a year or so we will be reading MSM headlines that say "Tax Hikes Unexpectedly Fail to Increase Tax Revenues."

Tomorrow at Applebees they will be offering a free meal to all Veterans. Bring in your DD214 to prove your veteran status.

I worked for Zane Tankel in a different industry and I can tell you I never worked for a better boss who knows how to take care of his people.

It is so typical for the left that they make the unreasonable demand that others continue to labor for them even if it means working at a loss.

They do not seem to understand that companies will be laying off more and more people as no one will have the purchasing power to keep them in business on top of all the new taxes and costs having to do with healthcare and the greed of their never ending demands.

Welcome to reality. She’s finally come calling.
