Colon was lost decades ago.

He built it himself.

Colin Powell was dead to me in 2008, when he endorsed Obama over John McCain.

John McCain was everything Powell was supposed to be about. Sure he ran a shitty campaign, but was a war hero and he had served his country again with his service as a Senator. He was never as Conservative as I would have liked, but I voted for him anyway because he had leadership qualities that Obama only dreamed of.

But Powell chose to endorse someone with no qualifications and a shady, anti-American background. Powell told me everything I needed to know about him with that act alone.

CP is one of the crowd that claim the party left them. It`s really only code for pro abortion crap...They make it sound as if at some point the Republican party was pro abortion etc

Cristy Todd Whitman (SP) claims the same thing...I say good riddance to the bunch of them

When did we have him? Remember, his people sent Scooter Libby to jail and he was the one who persuaded Bush 41 not to go to Baghdad. Another affirmative action hire.

He served his county honorably and he is entitled to his own point of view.

He has always been a progressive/sodomite/Atheist/Bohemian Grove type.....One Worlder——saw him in with all the mover and shakers-—the Kissinger-types. He sold his soul to Satan a long time ago and worships at their altar.

Republicans were infiltrated long ago with the Prescott Bush fellow travelers. (Franklin cover-up). They are an evil, sinister group and pretend to be Christians and patriots, but they are destroyers of the Constitution and pro-sodomy.

They want control of the World and to kill off millions-—just like George Bernard Shaw stated and Billy Ayers.

Never understood why anyone was looking for him, he has always been scum and will flip on you for his own benefit.
It started in Nam, and has only gotten worse.
The man is a phoney baloney fake good guy, how he has received his rank is a disgrace to the military.

Add Colin Powell to a list of those voting for Obama solely because he is black. Why else would he vote for him? Obama’s economic and foreign policy records are atrocious, he is mired in scandal, he blames everybody but himself, and he insults America daily with an endless stream of propaganda and blatant lies. So much for intellect and patriotism.

...and he is entitled to his own point of view.

His point of view stinks and posters here will point that out.

General Powell was always a very cool customer. I thought it was a little odd for him to come on so strong at the UN to start the Iraq war. The way he presented the case to remove Saddam, the non-islamic ruler, was aggressive for him at the time. Now maybe it all makes more sense. (To establish an Islamic state after the chaos of a war midst the vacuum in leadership after we leave.)

We never had him. His unspectacular Army service (covered up Mi Lai when reports reached him) was basically a fast diversion into fellowships, and political hack jobs. His autobiography is a whining tome of racial grievances.
he was nominally “republican” because his race based White house and DC jobs just happened to be during repub administrations.
He made his soldiers in Korea repeatedly watch the move “Brians Song” to promote racial harmony. His self professed career highlight was building a Buffalo Soldier monument in kansas.
When he was finally assigned to a combat division so he could qualify for a star, he was a dud. Unqualified for everything. Of course, his book explains that the division commander was awful and it was all HIS fault.

I encourage anyone to read his book, then Schwrtzkopf’s. The difference is striking.

Always was a turd, still is.

Never liked him. In retrospect, Powell looks like the first modern high-ranking military man who broke ranks with the tradition of what it means to be a military man, and consequently, he seems to have become something of a prototype for the types we “enjoy” today, like every one from Wesley Clark to General George Casey, who said about the Ft. Hood shooter, “it would be a shame if our diversity became a casualty as well”.

Exactamundo! That’s when he lost me, too.

If he IS a closet muzzie, that’s why he wanted it stopped, so all those potential raghead casualties would still be alive to become “insurgents” when we finally HAD TO go all the way to Baghdad!

“Any Army Veteran with anything going on upstairs could read his biography”

Exactly,,read his bio and you’ll know all you wanted to know about him. For fun, contrast it with Stormin’ Norman’s.
