Not entirely. We elected a TEA Party conservative, Paul LePage, as governor in 2010. That same year, the GOP captured the Maine House and the Maine Senate, the first time that’s happened since the early 1960’s.
Now if we could only replace our two rat members of the House of Representatives and get two conservative U.S. senators, we’d be cooking.
By the way, the Maine People’s Alliances (a collection of disgruntled moonbats) has demanded the resignation of Lewiston’s mayor. Any organization with the word “people’s” or “alliance” in their name always raises my suspicions. When they have BOTH “people’s” AND “alliance” as part of the name of their organization, watch out.
