This is like watching a nervous breakdown occur on a national stage. If he were a celebrity, it would be curious and sad, but he’s the President of the United States. His life is unraveling before him on live TV and his tone is becoming one of person out of touch with reality and descending into depression. This sort of thing could get darn scary by election day if his strange behaviour keeps up.

What the hell DOES he think the government has to do with it in the first place???

He DOES seem to think people are ‘entitled’ to have your money being ‘redistributed’ to them if you are a success, though.

0bama believes one person’s success should be SHARED by everyone. He truly believes that. He’s said “everyone will get their fair share”. He said it in the debate. He’s currently spreading America’s wealth to the rest of the world to ‘level the playing field’; BAD FOR US, great for them! That’s why we’ve slipped in global competitiveness. ‘2016; Obama’s America’ explains this well.

We believe in a country where hard work pays off and responsibilities are rewarded and everybody is getting a fair shot and everybody’s doing their fair share. And everybody’s paying by the same rules.

That's interesting. He apparently realized his oops. Here's what he said in his closing statement at the debate:

.....they have an opportunity to succeed. And everybody’s getting a fair shot and everybody’s getting a fair share. Everybody’s doing a fair share and everybody’s playing by the same rules.

[[Obama: ‘We Don’t Believe Anybody Is Entitled to Success in This Country’]]

so when obama tries to nail romeny on the 47% remark, romeny can simply throw this back in his face- but of course, romney won’t- He’ll just stammer when obama brings up the 47% remark, or try to explain it away, digging himself in even deeper witrh the mainstream media who lvoe to twist his words- He should refuse to answer the 47% accusations from obama and instead turn it around and ask why the president of the united states feels that peopel aren’t entitled to sucess i nthis coutnry- ask him why he’s waging a war on successful people-

In that sentence, “everybody” means us taxpayers, particularly the so-called “rich.”. We all have to give our “fair share” so he and his wife can live high on the hog and he can distribute our wealth to the unions, friends, and “his people.”

FUBO!

"We have come too far to abandon the change we fought for these past few years.
We have to move forward to the future we imagined in 2008 where everyone gets a fair shot, and everyone does their fair share, and everyone plays by the same rules.
That’s the choice in this election and that’s why I’m running for a second term as President of the United States.”

“What does that even mean?”

Precisely - and what do any of these same, worn out repeated statements mean, even to his own supporters?

“...not anyone is entitled to success”. What the F*** is this suppose to imply???

My only conclusion is that this a**hole of a president wants his base of victims to assume that anyone who has succeeded financially in life does not deserve what he/she has accomplished and that they have “unfairly” achieved their dreams.

Who are all of these successful, middle class business owners who have succeeded and failed to “follow the same rules” or failed to pay their “fair share”??

Answer - there are no such group of unfair winners. They are, however, a target to spread Obama’s false narrative of class envy and class warfare to obtain votes. And his completely, brain-dead supporters go along with this jackass without even realizing the stupidity of the argument they’ve bought into.

I think a question for Obama is: Is the country itself entitled to success?

Why can’t America be successful, prosperous?

My husband and I both work for billionaires - and so do most of the people in my neighborhood. The neighborhood where I live is nice and values are stable because we are all benefiting from the risks taken and the true grit of a few people who in the 1970s had a great idea and the fortitude to see it through.

Seems like Obama doesn’t even understand this since it happens without government intervention.

everybody is getting a fair shot and everybody’s doing their fair share. And everybody’s paying by the same rules. That is the country believe in. That is what we have been fighting for the last four years.

soooooo, will R&R be able to articulate that this statement means that 'the rich' should pay their fair share, %-wise, as the '47%' ??? or does this mean that the '47%' needs to be paying more ???

better get slo joe out in front and doing damage control...doh !!!

Literally, he is right (though I’m not sure this is the way he meant it). ‘Entitled to’ means ‘having an unconditional right to’ or ‘being guaranteed a right to’ something. No-one has a natural ‘right’ to success in this country, whether they work for it or not. We are all entitled to the MEANS to success through our own efforts, indeed. But the very problem of the ‘entitlement society’ we see developing around us is surely that too many people DO believe that they are ‘entitled’ to ‘success’ without having to get off their butts and work for it.

No government endows ‘success’, nor is that its role. The role of government is to provide a climate and environment which enables those who wish to work for success to achieve their dreams.
