We didn’t get one

OK, let me try again. Had you been the one to pick the candidate(s), who would you have picked?

Willkie was probably still a registered Democrat when he ran.

Agree liv.

Romney better make use of Ryan’s many talents and be grateful that he is on his ticket....like kiss his feet kind of gratitude.
As Laura Ingraham said yesterday, Mittens is not running an effective campaign and if the election were held yesterday, he would lose and badly.

We’ll see if this is a game changer..

Run a primary in Virginia that has some candidates and i’ll tell you. Given a choice between a fool and a crook..... that’s not a choice.

You appear to be a perpetual whiner and critic given your posts on various threads on this site.

A little honest introspective assessment could help you figure out why.

As it is the Democrats are not going to suddenly give up their thing just to vote for a loser. The result is, he loses, you lose, we all lose ~ America is down the toilet and you people imagine you did the right thing.

It's not too late to boot Romney and the GOP-e out.

Then we can win and save the country.

Maybe you can answer this for me, as you seem like you might have a plan for getting what you claim needs done, done.So I ask:

HOW do we "save the country", in your view? This is my question. Specifics please, no more platitudes and/or criticisms of the current (presumptive) GOP candidate. We "get" that he's more evil than Satan himself.

No, I'm not asking for more of that. I'm asking for a specific game plan that does not involve voting for Romney. And don't give me useless generalities like "vote conservative". The time for such platitudes is over. SPECIFiCS please! Or you're, quite frankly, wasting everyone's time including your own with these constant attacks on Romney.

I'm genuinely listening.

So your answer is to allow Obama to finish severing the artery completely so we bleed out quicker....

I would hate to even think you have children or grandchildren, if you do you would have been better off aborting them because by you inaction you have doomed them to the coming slavery and dictatorship that always follows the democracy that is destroyed by its loose fiscal policy.

If Obama is allowed another four where he won’t feel the need to cooperate at all, remember “After my election, I will have more flexibility” I imagine one day they would ask why was the generation before us so greedy it destroyed this country and but us into debt slavery....

No matter how hard the Romney machine tries - even picking Ryan (a slightly less boring Romney - and a technocrat) -— no matter what Romney does ... millions like me will be voting against the scourge obama - not for Romney / Ryan... too bad - but that’s the way it is... Someday Conservatives will have something to vote FOR... not just against.

Intentionally destroying this country .
Holder is working to enforce voter fraud as the norm and rewriting Texas congressional district for fellow leftists ,
You whine like a 4 years old and
Working to help these left wing radicals stay in power .
This is the most important elections in our life time and your promoting everyone to stay home .
Your clueless but fool no one here on your agenda .

Reminds me of this old story:

A state trooper in a Jeep knocks on a man’s door and tells him to evacuate due to a pending flood; the man says “God will save me.” A few hours later the water is running through the man’s first floor, and the coast guard pulls up to his second story window in a boat, but he sends them away, saying “God will save me.” A little later, the man is on his roof, with floodwaters ravaging his house. A helicopter flies over and dangles a ladder, but the man waves it off. The man is swept away and drowns, and when he gets to heaven, he angrily confronts God with “why didn’t you do anything to save me?” God says “I didn’t do anything? I sent a jeep, a boat and a helicopter.”

While waiting for the perfect candidate to rescue us, this type of person watches the country drown.

Ryan/Romney certainly aren’t God. Obama certainly is the flood. But I’m not going to wait around until God is on the ballot. I’ll take the jeep, the boat, or the copter.

My IRA is 100% out of my pocket, so you lose. Unfortunately the rest of us are forced to pay for you to sit around all day supporting obama just so you can keep sucking off the govt teat. Don’t worry, the Republicans aren’t going to take your pension away, even though I wish they would.

And you imagine Romney is not a Chavez radical? These two are just the same ~ no difference of any significance. Their first priority is gay rights, followed by dead babies, followed by taxing the middle-class....

All same thing.

BTW, your boy Romney still isn’t the nominee. The convention hasn’t even been held. There’s time to repent and make a different decision.

NOT the same thing.

Had Romney gone liberal, you might have (something) of a point.

You do not.

Romney has gone conservative.

Romney is now infinitely better than Obama in every regard;

He’s still Romney, but he’s our Romney.

We can watch, learn, then kick him out in 2016 if need be.

Perhaps that will not be necessary.

We shall see.
