I am so fed up with the Obama campaign ads during the Olympics. I hope the rest of the country is as fed up as I am!

Sorry, I had my fill of this clown since early 2010, if not earlier. The next 97 days will drag!

They are all poll-tested to appeal to the large mass of imbeciles who get their brains in TV commercials and who are pivotal in deciding national elections.

The fun part is that he’s associating his ‘brand’ with the most reviled Olympics coverage in US history (see: “#nbcfail”). So it’s going to build a brand identity of “Obama = Fail”.

Is it really that Obama is advertising during the Olympics, or that Romney is not responding with his own Olympics ads?

I'd be asking why Romney is letting Obama have this stage uncontested? Or maybe I'm just missing Romney's ads?

Is NBC charging him anything for the spots?

Here in Ohio, I’m seeing equal amounts of Romney ads as Obamas. Its tit for tat.

Good analysis of political advertisements, why hundreds of millions are spent on swaying these couch potatoes

In southern Colorado, there are as many Romney commercials as Odumbo. I’m tired of both of them and it’s only August!

I’m sick of the Obama ads, of course, and some at least must be national buys because we are seeing some in NJ (not a swing state, sadly!).

But I am sick of ALL the ads and also all the BS so we’re recording them so we can power-through the crap.

Tonight hubby & I both fell asleep anyway, but at least I saw some stuff!

I'm in California. Maybe that's why I'm only seeing Obama ads.

Not to mention the contrived/choreographed shticks of the extremely accessible and ‘common’ Michelle Obama which are designed to endear her and her husband to the American public, obviously.

“No way would he waste money on these ads in CA.”

I’m sorry to say the one I saw tonight was pretty good.

I mean, it was smarmy BS, but I thought it would have appeal to those mushy-middle-muddlers. Especially if they didn’t actually LISTEN to THE WORDS, and my experience is that very few people actually LISTEN to THE WORDS.

My understanding is that Romney can’t spend “General Election” money until he is the actual, official, legal, etc. nominee. And, evidently for whatever reason(s) Obama is already the actual, etc. Dem. nominee.

Which now makes me a tad confused, since evidently Bill Clinton is going to “nominate” Obama for president at their convention. And Obama did have primary opponents, some of whom did rather amazingly well.

But, never mind all that.

Even if Campaign Romney can’t respond, I wish some Super PAC would get some spots up, although maybe they are locally.

I really, really, really, really, really, eleventy, a thousand, a million, a billion, a trillion, infinity, double infinity, DREAD the thought of that communist, chi-town hack getting re-elected.
