House GOP Leaders Indicate They Will Fund Implementation of Obamacare
CNS News ^ | 07/24/12 | Elizabeth Harrington and Jon Street

When asked whether the House Republicans would permit or not permit funding for Obamacare in whatever legislation is enacted to fund the government after Sept. 30--when the current funding legislation runs out--House Speaker John Boehner responded that "our goal would be to make sure the government is funded," thus indicating that House Republicans do plan to fund implementation of Obamacare past Sept. 30.

Unless a special provision is put into the bill to fund the government past Sept. 30 that expressly prohibits funding specifically for the Obamacare regulation that requires health-care plans to cover, without cost-sharing, sterilizations, artificial contraceptives and abortifacients, the House Republicans, by funding implementation of Obamacare, will also be funding implementation of that regulation.

"The federal government, based upon the last agreement, will run out of money on Sept. 30."

$15,000,000,000.00 in debt and we are just now running out of money?

In this household and all others and business's when you have more going out than you have coming in you are bankrupt!

I never have to wonder why I left the Grand Old Party 14 years ago and I sure enjoy telling the party callers that fact.

Excuse me, I mean that I agree with GOP Party Animal. When we do have the seats in Congress to repeal it, and Romney as POTUS, and the GOP wont act, THEN it’s pitchforks and torches to the Capitol!

This is a holding action. If the House Republicans start a fight to withhold funding for the AFA they risk losing seats in the House and Senate they’ll need to repeal it. It’s a calculated political move - I think it’s the right one.

After all, what's a few billion dollars among friends, right?

We hear it ALL the time. THIS time we're serious about reducing the deficit. THIS time we're really gonna hold the line on spending. And then it NEVER happens.

This idea illustrates the classic difference between Republicans and conservatives. The people don't want Obamacare and they have said so repeatedly. Their anger has even made a progressive like Mutt Romney claim to be against it. This is a huge election issue and by funding Obamacare the Republican Party will yet again find a way to be on the wrong side of it.

Exactly when is the Class of 2010 going to start doing what it promised to do to gain election, which was to cut $100 billion from the federal budget? When are Republicans going to stop kicking the can and actually fight for something their base wants?

1 Voting isn’t working.
2 They fund it because WE fund THEM.
3 Don’t blame Boehner, or call him spineless, before looking in the mirror.

It doesn't matter what Congress votes for, or against, in a budget, EVERY budget they have voted for has been DOA in the Senate.

There has been no budget passed since the Kenyon Commie was elected, they all die in the Senate.

The Republicans in Congress are powerless without the Senate.

Apparently watching Bart Stupak lie around on the deck of his fishing boat was not enough to convince them.

LOL. Yeah, there's always an excuse for the GOP to act spineless. But be sure to vote for the establishment folks!

At this point, this is completely politics.

We’re going to have an election in November on what happens to Obamacare. Hopefully on Jan. 20 we will start shutting it down.

But any tactics during funding legislation now are solely determined by whether it hurts or helps each side’s position in the election.

” - - - House Speaker John Boehner responded that “our goal would be to make sure the government is funded - - - “

Duh, isn’t this the same Sobber of the House who promised to “repeal what is left of Obama”care?”

BTW, what is it about the owners of this name “John” in DC? First we had Traitor JOHN Roberts, and now we have Traitor JOHN Boehner?

I can hear Traitor John Boehner now: “ Just you wait! Right after the election I’m really gunna show them this time! Yep! THIS time I’m really going - - - . Guys, you can’t leve right now? Guys, come on back! Guys, this is my peptalk to myself. GUYS! (sob, Sob, SOB, SOB, SOB).

Narrator: “ And so we bring to a close this spineless chapter of the Sobber of the House, Traitor John Boehner, who through his sobbing has finally spelled out his legacy to America: I am a S. O. B.”

Boehner is a traitor.

Here in Oklahoma, we got rid of Rep. John Sullivan - and replaced him with a tea party conservative.

The energy building against RINOs is strong and enthusiastic.

And based on Mittens speech at the VFW today, even he seems to understanding this reality.

No RINOs. Ever again.

And I continue to get calls from the GOP to solicit financial support?

Not only are they stupid, they are brazen — they are brazenly stupid.

Thank God for caller ID.

My thought is....

Why is anything that these clowns in DC do surprise anyone?

Are people really that stupid to think anything is going to change.....

They have the power to destroy lives with the power they hold over us, and why the mystery?

If people would inconvenience themselves and stop voting for who their told to, things might change.

No more for me, no rino, no socialist, no more crap sandwich.

If I throw my vote away, tough crap, it's my vote to throw away.

No romney,ever

It's a write in candidate, for me

We might have to vote for a RINO for president, but you guys in Congress who vote to support Obamacare will be looking for work when your next time at the ballot box rolls arount.

Why would "conservatives" abandon their principles and vote for liberal Romney but cling to there principles and not vote for their rino congressmen?

“We are losing our country to godless socialism and what does the GOP do? Run an abortionist/homosexualist statist whose socialist RomneyCare program was the blueprint and impetus for ObamaCare! Screw that!! I’ll vote for the GOP’s candidate for the presidency when they run a CONSERVATIVE!! Otherwise, to hell with them!! The GOP is fast cementing their place as part of the problem! Wake up America!!”

No I will not vote for an abortionist for president. Period. It’s no secret. I’ve been posting that I will not vote for Rudy/Romney abortionist for many years.

Welcome to Free Republic, America’s exclusive site for God, Family, Country, Life & Liberty conservatives!

Romney does not qualify on any count!

Of COURSE> I’ve been saying it all along. They KNOW so many “conservatives” will just line up and vote for who they are told. Wanna kill Conservatism? Vote for Romney and these people.

OR ... we can ONLY vote for conservatives. It will empower us. They will no longer take us for granted.

But . . hey. See ya in Nov when Romney is in ashes and so many wonder what happened and why we are STILL ignored by what remains of the GOP.

These GOPers have NO interest in Conservatism, only liberalism and power. And they will do ANYTHING to get it.

I would say just one thing (and get banned for doing it)

"The Republicans in Congress are powerless without the Senate."

they collectively are, "fuckin useless" every one of them.
