Obama’s stance on medical marijuana puzzles me. I just can’t think of any reason why he would be so hard on it, especially when it’s irritating a large segment of the base he needs to win in November.
He thinks he can multiply support by dividing America. In truth he will manage to brown off virtually everybody.
Medical, (legal, and often more potent,) marijuana means LESS money for the ILLEGAL weed smuggled in by cartels. Can’t have that. ALWAYS follow the money.
It's because he doesn't want to give up government power. That's also why every liberal on the Supreme Court voted against medical marijuana in Gonzales v Raich. The fact that Thomas, Rehnquist, and O'Connor voted in favor of medical marijuana must especially confuse the people at DU.
