I am in the final quarter of my life and it has been a good life in a good country until the government started turning red after the 60’s. I look around at the kids playing in the neighborhood an I cannot help but wonder what kind of life they will have and will they ever know liberty like I did.

I know it's a story abut the first three marine MP battalions...but the US Army has 7 brigades of military police. There are, not counting individual MP companies, reserve, and guard, 10 active (Regular Army) MP battalions. There have been MP battalions in the Army organization since 1941. Better late than never though ("oneol'MP" 504th MP Battalion 18th MP Brigade Vietnam 1966-67)

I met a New Zealander a few years back who was a US Marine. He claimed that the US military recruited English-speaking non-citizens to get around Posse Comitatus. He claimed to have been involved in all sorts of domestic shenanigans.

Let me guess where this could be going under Obama. Our Marines can't and won't kill a Taliban without the permission of a JAG written letter translating the current ROE’s and given a verbal pass to proceed from their openly homosexual CO, but they would be allowed to shoot and kill any suspect American on the spot should they defy Der Fuhrer.
