I am in the final quarter of my life and it has been a good life in a good country until the government started turning red after the 60’s. I look around at the kids playing in the neighborhood an I cannot help but wonder what kind of life they will have and will they ever know liberty like I did.
I mourn for their future. A future a outlined in Orwells 1984 more likely than the future envisioned by our founders. Boiled frogs all, they will not even know their own oppression.

Well said! Even sadder is that many of them are demanding their own enslavement but are either too ignorant or stupid to realize that all this “security” means a loss of freedom.

Very well written and obviously spoken from your heart. There are many of us that join you. As we venture into our twilight years it saddens me that I’m not leaving my grandchildren with a world anything like the one my parents and grandparents left me.
My grandchildren know that I won’t be around for too many more years and that I pray several times a day for their future and the future of America. Hopefully they will always remember to trust that God will watch over them and protect them - come what may.
I didn't believe a word of it...
You do know that if that happens it will be our fault? We our fathers passed down freedom to us. It is our duty to pass it down to the next generation.
