Romney haters, did you cry to your parents when u lost growing up

I have to wonder if all the Romney haters on this site were the same people who ran home to mom when they lost at games as kids. I did not vote for Romney in the primaries. If you asked anyone that knows me, they would say I am right of Reagan. What I don't understand is all of you that love this country, which I truly believe you do, that are willing to not vote for Romney and potentially allow this country to fail by re-electing Obama!, how does that make sense?

When the major concern is the state of the GOP and thereby America, then voting for Romney is wholly counter productive.

On the one hand, Romney as President of The United States and top Republican, will run the GOP farther to the Left. On the other hand, Obama will keep the GOP opposed to his Liberal policies.

Either one of them is a bad choice but voting for Romney and owning what you know he stands for is worse from a true Conservative point of view.

Not voting for Romney and being LOUD about it, sends a Conservative message. Voting for Romney sends no message because he is Liberal.

Even though it’s a tough election, I’m confident things will work out.

I am confident things will work out as well. That is why Obama does not scare me as he scares ABOs. In the end, I know who is in control and though we may go through some very dark times, the Lord will see us through them all.

0bama surely is a progressive dream-come-true. He has moved the overton window such an incredible distance to the left, that many think that a liberal is actually a Republican. Romney is another step towards a thousand years of darkness.

for the record, I truly don’t care who wins the presidential election in 2012 but to be brutally honest, the only true victory that I can see for conservatives involves Obama winning. Now, I could never bring myself to vote for Obama of course but I feel the same way about Mitt Romney. Regardless, I will certainly be voting for Josh Mandel and doing my part to hand the Senate over to the Republican party so we can set about making some real changes you can believe in.

Some of us are dealing with decisions larger and more personal than your obsession with the anti-Christian, anti-conservative, anti-American guy Romney, winning over Obama.

My vote and who I am, transcends your personal interests, or level of knowledge, or whatever, to me.

I know things that you do not, I have personal commitments that you cannot know, I vote, but there are things that I will not vote for, will not support, people that I cannot lend my name to, my moral support to, or anything from me to.

Presidential elections are very important, but there is more going on than your agenda to get Bishop Romney into office.

While I understand the arguments about Obama versus Mitt Romney, I am a free man, and my vote means nothing if I always feel forced to choose between those two, I do get to make a choice of my own, or else voting means nothing, at least to me.

In this case both men are such, that I cannot support either.

None of the candidates on the Republican side were ideal, all had some sort of issue. Personally Romney is a better person than Obama, but that wouldn't take much. Romney is definitely part of the big government establishment though, and while he won't spend like Obama, I don't for see the drastic cuts needed, and this country will still be headed toward a fiscal cliff, just not as fast. The problem is how people react in this country, that is not until there is a crises, the best example would be the Tea Party. It was created because Obama got elected and a lot of people around the country said "OH ****", the problem is that most in that group have a real jobs and can't spend the time needed like those that support Obama. We need to decide how to proceed in this election, supporting Romney will stop the major fiscal bleeding that we see under Obama, but we will still be headed towards the fiscal cliff. Or do we allow Obama to get elected again for four more years in the hope that enough people get concerned enough to fix the problem? (if it still can be fixed?).

That isn't true, the Bishop is a monster, a wicked man, with a simple personal life.

Look at Obama's life, on the surface it is as clean and pure as Mitt Romney's.

I’m from a safely Dhim state that no Republican candidate for president will ever win so we don’t get to see anything here. From reading Freepers’ comments, Romney & Co seem to have been taking a nap. It’s good to hear that Romney actually does important thing: focus on battle ground states at this early stage of general campaign.

Tell me....how does this win votes for Romney from those who actually stand for conservative ideas, people who do not vote for a party but their principles?

You whiny fool... Romeny won, who cares about the 2nd amendment, lower taxes, judges, abortion, stopping obamacare etc. ROMNEY WON get with your masters this instant you stupid child and stop your crying.....the absolute stupidity.

Nope...did nothing for me....still not voting for a democrat with an R in front of his name...even if he won the primary by once again having the conservative vote split and all the games done by the party.

The problem the party has is we are not like the dem faithful and vote for the party no matter what... we walk when the party has gone to far and if the party is to stupid to look at who their voters are and cater to them then that is their stupidity.

Your Romney will probably win with no base enthusiasm and a bunch of dems helping you but there will not be a second term because that base can not stand him and the dems will be given someone in their party to vote for not against in 4 years. What a waste of a year that could have turned this country around.

Agreed, also agreed that not supporting Romney gives us four more years of The One (WMR was my candidate all along...not perfect but better than BHO). Not voting for Romney or voting 3rd party etc...can really hurt us. I know some aren't satisfied but do we really want more Barack?

Actual site: Republicans for Obama

Actual quote:
"Republicans for Obama is a grassroots organization of proud party members who all share one important trait— we are Americans first and Republicans second. Founded in late 2006 as part of the nationwide effort to encourage then-Senator Obama to run for the Presidency, our volunteer-run, grassroots group now includes thousands of members from across the nation. Together, we represent a cross-section of the millions of Republican and conservative independents who support President Obama's reelection in 2012."

(I can picture possibly picture Dems for Romney*, but Republicans for Obama?!?>!?_)

*--one thing that helped to elect Reagan were the so-called "Reagan Democrats")

Let us agree to NEVER FORGET WHO helped Obama win.

The PERPS are Team Romney and the vicious bastard backstabbers
who idolize him and pimp his socialized medicine, TARP, taxes,
global warming love, and falsely proclaim them to be 'conservative'.

That is the classic definition of trolling.

———they do not fear Obama like the rest of us do.-——

No, that is not the reason. If you read the posts, fear of Obama is acknowledged. The reason for not becoming part of the Republican coalition is the notion of principle, of maintaining conservative purity.

The concept of sticking to one’s conservative principles in a presidential race where conservatism is no longer an issue is given a higher value than defeating the liberal scourge. As has already been made plain, that is acknowledged in writing, upthread, declaring one’s self irrelevant in the Presidential election is preferable to sacrificing conservative principle.

Conservatives were defeated in their attempts to determine a nominee for President. Some have determined that the proper course is to opt out rather than to vote for a person who lacks the required purity.

I don't like Mitt or his politics, but the fact of the matter is, Mitt is not as bad as the Marxist/Muslim usurper sob. Nobody could be that bad.

This is the most important presidential election of our lifetime, and we must get Obama out of office before he finishes destroying America. THAT must be our number one goal.

Any vote cast for a third party candidate, any write-in, anyone staying home and refusing to vote is casting a vote for Obama.

Unfortunately, that's just the way it is this time around.

I will vote in November- not for Romney, but against Obama.
