I read an article last week where Ms. Rice said there was no way she wanted to be vice president.

Nah...not if Mitt is smart!
He needs a pit bull...not a wonk!
I could see her taking the number 2 spot yet still voting for Obama like she did last time
No
People remain confused. This election will be about “anybody but Obama”. It has nothing to do with anything else. It doesn’t matter if the candidates on the other side are Daffy Duck and Goofy.
We don’t need a concert pianist (much funner to say than to type...go ahead - say peeanist...doesn’t that make you giggle just a little?) in the Naval Observatory. We need a foreign expert. Although not a ticket draw, if anyone from DoS would be great as the VPOTUS, Bolton would be my pick.
I hope not. Mitt needs to pick someone who is both acceptiable to a broad range of GOP voters, and also viable as a potential candidate 8 years from now if he wins. That’s not Condi. Someone like Paul Ryan would fit the bill nicely.
For crying out loud!
Enough with the Condi Rice for VP!
Why would she make a good candidate for VP?
Because she has black skin?
Because she is a female?
Those are her only qualifications.
She certainly has never displayed the ability to handle executive responsibilities at a high level.
This woman is no more competent than Joe Biden.
She was no better as Sec. State than Hillary Clinton or Madeline Albright.
Leave her in academia where she can do no more harm at the national level.
As said above, it is irrelevant who he picks since we must replace Obama never the less.
But, I think that Condi, as appealing, experienced and smart as she is, is pro abortion so that would be a problem for some like me who are strongly against baby killing. (If we were not up against an existential catastrophe with Obama in office, I would never vote for a ticket with a pro abort).
Also, my admiration for Condi dropped off after reading this article in the WSJ:
Anyone But Condi
A tempting but unwise choice for Romney’s vice president./April 30, 2012

May never be. She’s a RINO Arabist who voted for B. Hussein Obama.
Condi is a smart lady and I would love to see her back in government, but I don’t think she’s the right match for Romney because she is too closely tied with Bush.
The Democrats would go crazy with that.

So, would that mean she wouldn’t vote for Obama this time around? Is the strategy The idea that picking Condi deprives Obama of one vote?
Do we need another lesbian in the White House? No thank you.
No way, no how. Condi opens up old wounds. And despite the dislike for Romney among us rightists, Romney is a very smart guy. He is also ruthless and when the time comes, around the convention, he will gut Obama like he gutted Newt. The VP pick will not matter a whit.

Isn’t one pro abortion candidate on the ticket enough?
She brings no votes to the deal.
