Posting the address of TruBlueRinos.com for those FReepers who can no longer stomach FR

Posted on 07/10/2012 2:39:24 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

Received yet another FReepmail message regarding the underground campaign to get disgruntled freepers to move on over to the latest anti-freeper site.

I'll save them the trouble of having their moles to do their underhanded dirty work underground.

If you're totally fed up with me and my absolute refusal to support the GOP-e's outright plunge into supporting the progressive/statist agenda and no longer wish to resist tyranny, please by all means go join the RINO squishes over on TrueBlueRINOS.com ( actual address: http://www.trueblueliberty.com ).

But when you join them, please do us all favor and don't come back. It'll save us all a bunch of grief.

Thanks for the memories. It was fun working with you when we all agreed on our pro-God, pro-Life, pro-family, pro-small government, pro-liberty causes.

By the way, those caught continuing their underground campaigns against FR will be zot on sight.

Like this guy:

From Pasadena2k | 07/10/2012 1:22:46 PM PDT new

try a site at which it’s OK to discuss alternatives to Obama at least for a short period during this presidential elction season.

Many of us ( over 550 in the last two months ) spend some of our time at trueblueliberty.com

Goodbye, Pasadena, we hardly knew ye.

No one appreciates moles. Filthy animals.

God bless and keep you and your precious family, dearest MountainDad.

You’re right, there’s no other forum, like FR. We pray together for one another and for our family members and for our brave troops, and we pray faithfully and sincerely from our hearts. We truly believe there is no greater power on God’s earth than prayer and we’ve seen His miracles and His abundant blessings.

I f folks are more at home on the web elsewhere, then don’t go ehad and leave, but please LEAVE and don’t come back or bother tracking, monitoring or slamming and lying about us.

Just get LOST and do their own thing. Get help for obsessions about us and the wonderful forum they left behind or were forced to leave behind by very bad behavior.

There are a few pro-choice Republicans who recognize that while they find themselves outside the party’s mainstream, the rest of their values are coherent with the party, so they remain. They are wise if they keep their pro-choice sentiments to themselves in polite Republican company.

Analagously, there can be some pro-Romney Conservatives on FR. They aren’t in the mainstream. They oughtn’t consume JR’s valuable realestate, goodwill and electrons with opinions offensive to the host and many / most thorough conservatives. That’s an argument best taken elsewhere.

We’ll all bumble through this election finding our common ground of Conservatism where we can. Some can support Mitt. Some cannot. I’m with the latter. I understand the former.

I just can’t vote for my next Socialist Slavemaster (see RomneyCare.)

Your choice, of course, and I can respect that...a ‘not voting for Romney’ is at least half a vote for Obama, any way you slice it. PERIOD. :)

I am opposed to any attempt to expel Romney supporters from this website. I think we should look beyond this election and it remains my hope that, after Romney loses in November, we will all be able to unify around common goals.

Most of the Romney supporters are good people and, when the election is behind us, will try to reconcile themselves to conservative values. I hear them say that they are so terrified of the future that they honestly believe Romney can and will protect them. They sincerely believe that they need Mitt Romney.

Most of them seem like good people and I think they deserve our patience.
I think we should try to encourage them to learn to take care of themselves rather than to seek comfort in the illusory promise of protection from a liberal presidential candidate. They really just need more self-confidence right now. After the election, they will learn that they can survive without Mitt Romney.

Having missed Rush' pontification today, I'd suggest he was talking to the leftwingtards and not us.

BTW, his theory that you can ever go to the middle is totally wrong.

There is no middle. The political array is that of a bi-modal saddle with a thin fringe surrounding the two major nodes. After all, human beings are three and four dimensional critters. That simplistic left right thing that started on one side with hereditary kings and ended up on the other side with nomadic hunter-gatherers, just doesn't describe the modern world ~ besides that was put together by Frenchies to provide safe seating for members of Parliament.

What a mistake.

Romney and the Mittbots, the GOP-e, the Texas Republican Party, and hundreds of other political groups in rough orbit near the Republican party are simply factions in a coalition. Free Republic is a different sort of faction since, in reality, it is a coalition of disparate elements who would not normally be found in the same place most of the time. This is thanks to the genius of the founders and the long term supporters who think its better to counsel together than to set fire to paper bags filled with dog doodoo sitting on the neighbor's porch!

We could even get together with Romney if he was able to get out of that isolation box he put himself into so long ago. At the moment he is a lost cause!

One of the best things about FR is the sheer simplicity of reading the site. I don't have to negotiate frames, avatars, intrusive sidebars, screened text, etc.

I agree. There is no other site where I participate in commentary, although I read articles in a few other places. FR was my introduction to life online (found a link from Townhall.com), and I have been completely ruined for any other software.

I introduced my new wife of 2 years to FR in 2010. She has it as her default home page and Drudge. There is NOTHING that compares to FR when you need a quick look-see on news around the world. NOTHING. In fact, when I was in MIOBC, MICCC, CI school in Fort Huachuca, my fellow officers would always ask where and how I got such good OSINT so quick.

NIPERNET Freerepublic.com! Woot!

Literally, I was minutes to even hours before we heard news on commercial TV/radio stations. FR even beat SIPERNET Board on many issues.

So why did Rush expend so much CO² pimping the Romney vote today?

Well, I imagine because it's basically down to Romney versus Obama now, and Rush decided to go with the unknown havoc Romney may cause versus the known havoc that Obama represents.

I can understand that decision, just don't sugar coat it with a inane headline like "Mitt Romney is the Man We've Entrusted with the Task of Saving the Country We Love".

I don't trust Mitt as far as I can throw him. I fully expect that if Mitt wins, the GOP-E will go back to embracing liberalism instead of resisting it and we'll just be fighting the same war on a different front.

My husband will often mention reading something in the news, and I’ll say, “Oh, we went over that on FR back on Tuesday!” or whenever. It’s not only fast, but many topics get chewed over from so many different perspectives that even the good radio hosts sound like teenagers when they discuss, for example, education or taxes or employment, compared to the aggregate insights of the whole community of FR.

Laz, here's where there could be a problem with not voting the gopE against little bastard commie: if your state is going to have its votes counted by the Soros owned Spanish company, then you cannot afford for your state to have a close count between these two odious people, because in a close vote the democrats can cheat and win. That's why they hold off certain counties until they see what count they need to throw a close one, then they manufacture what they need. They nearly got away with it in Floriduh during Bush v Gore. But wiht the electronic counting and no trail to verify if the count is accurate, these criminal bastards have too much room to cheat (which in my opinion is treason and worthy of execution because it assassinates the sovereign votes of Americans actually casting their ballots). If for instance a state is going to be a Romney state but within that state there are numerous democrat enclaves which may be fading toward indepenetn or republican, then the cheating can cuase democrats down ticket to retain power via cheating where the count int he presidential race is close even if Obama loses in that state.

I've had freepers ridiculing me for voting for Romeny in NOvember, in Tennessee. This state is one where we do have democrats being sent to congress. This state is one ripe for cheating the down ticket, and even more ripe if the presidential numbers are close because many decide to vote third party because they cannot stomach the liberal Romney. There are dynamics at play that we have not really discussed adequately at Freerepublic. And readers coming here to get the data with explanations need to read discussions ont his topic. I wish someone would post a list of states and districts which willbe counted by the Spanish company. We need to be able to watch those counts very closely.

Because Romney has the GOP nomination locked up and we now must choose between Romney and Obama.

If people think Romney is their salvation, they are sadly mistaken. He will implement far more Leftist leftist legislation than he will destroy. That's the bottom line for me.

The words repeal and replace don't sit well with me.

If it's wrong for the federal government to be involved in an issue, it's wrong whether it's legislation that is proposed by the Left or the not quite so Left.

Repeal and Replace has been the right’s mantra since this crap sandwich was passed into law. Our side cannot be painted into the position of just getting rid of Obamacare because we’ll get bludgeoned for wanting to make ‘30 million’ go without health care.

If we have no alternative, we’ll get beaten badly. The insurance market is broken. People like their coverage but hate the cost. Things like pre-existing conditions are a legitimate problem. The government has has a massive hand in manipulating the whole thing through government-provided care to the poor and elderly and also through individual and business tax policy. Things need to be changed. It just needs to be reformed to get less government manipulation, not more manipulation and control, as the Democrats did.

I am not afraid of Replace, as long as Paul Ryan and the conservatives in the House have control of the bill. It has to be market-based reforms, opening competition, returning to the basics with catastrophic policies, using HSAs, and giving the individual the same incentives in the tax code as businesses. We have to break the model of employee-given health care....that’s a tough transition but one that is necessary. Right now, the government, employers, and insurance companies are in between us and our doctors, even for basic checkups and basic treatments. This system is crazy, and the government unfortunately has its prints all over the problems.

Hi Johnny.

I want to be as totally committed to my convictions as you are. I want to say, "I will not settle!" But the truth is I'm a practical kind of girl and I have been given the choice of Obama or Not Obama. There is no other way around it. And standing on my principles and refusing to play is as good as giving Barrack a free pass.

I dream of the day we get to support a real red-blooded conservative American Tea Party candidate. But what am I suppose to do right now? November is 4 months away. Tell me what I can do?

Our great country has cancer. We can beat drums and chant for more Hope and Change. We can get a knife and cut the cancer out. Or we can declare both options stupid and harmful, and refuse to do anything except demand better in the future.

Cutting out the bad parts will be a bloody mess. It will hurt and we will feel like crap. But maybe after all that we can find some real patriots willing to step up and help us heal. I'm a fighter! And I'm voting Romney because Obama/Holder/Napolitano are cancer.
