In 1920 delegates were not bound to a single candidate. Apples and oranges. Full country primaries have changed the way we nominate. I admire your enthusiasm but you will have better luck playing powerball.
‘Lemon.Wet.Good.’
—Mitt Romney
Seems to me at this stage of the campaign Romney is being aggressive despite what these folks are claiming. I certainly don’t search for campaign commercials but have seen plenty of Romney out there criticizing Obamacare and the bad economy.
Despite what some are saying this election is just about 100% about the economy and the warnings to Romney he should not concentrate on this aspect are completely wrong imo.
The big push will come immediately following the conventions and up until election day. At this point the majority of people are not rally engaged and resources should be conserved now to be utilized when they will have maximum impact.
Mittens is a knuckle dragging moron to employ this guy (and Steve Schmidt, McCain's toady).
These idiots don't know how to fight a Chicago thug with a soulless, core less, suit like Mittens.
There is no law requiring “bound” delegates. It is all purely political.
Anyone finding themselves “bound” to a politician without scruples, particularly one who does not espouse the values either of the Republican Party or that delagate, must abstain.
Mitt Romney only plays by rules when it is advantageous to himself.
” The irony is that the RINOs here in my state told me we have to nominate Romney because he is the MOST electable, 4 years earlier they said the same about McCain.”
Your state RINOS are dumber than my state RINOS : )
Romney has Steve Schmidt on his current team? OMG... not good.
I really don't think any large number of people are buying this. Even though we here feel this campaign is in high gear the majority of Americans are barely paying attention at this point. Even though he is not even close to being the favorite here, there is real support behind Romney and passion to get out and vote in Nov is equally high amongst the Republicans and he is raising a lot of money which will be used when the time is right. This is generally following the convention and right through election day.
