He was not my choice either, but it is either Romney or Obama.

Nothing is “over.” There is an election.

Romney is a bad choice, but Obama is worse.

I am not compromising my beliefs, either. I believe what I believe. I will believe what I believe no matter who sits in the White House.

I would rather have Romney- Clinton-Carter-Jeb Bush- than 4 more years of Obama.

I understand your pain, but it’s sorta not gonna change. It is gonna be Obama or Romney.

just heard that a poll showed in OH that bozo the clown is leading.

That just tells me how pathetic and stupid people are in this country.
To vote for this so called man after these 3 and half years is stunning. There is not one thing to vote on and if they say health care then I suggest they move to England or another socialist country as I have and then come back here.

What I'm saying is that many people , millions of them are just plain dumb, no if’s or buts about it.
There has not been one , yes one left wing idiot yet who understands of even knows about billions wasted given on green energy or so called the gun running, lying to congress etc.

Yes, Scott, I’m all for it, and I’m going to do my part.

I am extremely dismayed because no matter what happens in Novemeber, we canot undo the damage to the constitution that Chief Judas Roberts did.

Quite frankly, he is the worst person in the history of America.

Well, they think it because they are right.

Roberts completely changed the dynamic of the relationship between government and the citizen.

We are subjects now.

America's been teetering on the edge of a precipice before, as early as 1783 when George Washington turned back a brewing officers' revolt, which would have led to our country's being stillborn.

We need to get a proper perspective and realize that we can prevail.

"After reading a portion of the letter with his eyes squinting at the small writing, Washington suddenly stopped. His officers stared at him, wondering. Washington then reached into his coat pocket and took out a pair of reading glasses. Few of them knew he wore glasses, and were surprised.

'Gentlemen,' said Washington, 'you will permit me to put on my spectacles, for I have not only grown gray but almost blind in the service of my country.'...

To follow up...It is clear now that if/when obama’s birth cert ever reaches the sc..they will find for obama..he knows it..and so should we..it’s over. We are witnessing history..the implosion of once was the greatest nation on earth. We have become a nation of men, not law’s...so sad.

YOU are so right! Resistance actually has a cost— it’s one we wouldn’t pay, back when we were in a state of all hope and no action. They want our money. Can you imagine that? People with a nice retirement, people putting kids in college, farmers, store owners down on the square; they want our money! Why?

We have to control who it is we reward with our money.

Big business and oil should not comply with harmful regulation. Strikes hurt us all, but for some reason it makes tyrants crazy, therefore it is a small price to pay.

The empowered are not going to suffer consequences. That is our fault for all those comprising votes we gave them for too long.

I should have been more definitive as to which Bush was intended. At this time I’ll insert ‘like father like son’ as to the politics of not speaking out ,as far as I know, about Obamacare being a grand socialistic program which will fall in place with a new world order.

You get it. Amazingly enough, there are too many here who think there’s something wrong in voting out of fear. They are those too stupid and/or too wrapped up in their own pretend pride to be afraid.

chris37, don’t give up!

There *is* something we can do about that. A *constitutional amendment* (as also mentioned by omni-scientist) may be necessary to abolish this SCOTUS newly endorsed “penalty tax”. It should also prohibit the Congress from using any “penalty tax” to coerce any activity or non-activity. It may even be necessary to more clearly define the original constitutional limits on the taxing powers of Congress.

Conservatives definitely think that this “penalty tax” is an assault on freedom. And I think liberals will be scared of it too when they no longer control the Senate and White House in 2013 (I hope!). I wouldn’t worry too much about inaction by weak-kneed Boehner and Mitchell. With a new Republican president and a bunch of new Tea Party senators and representatives, they *will* work on passing this amendment. Or, if necessary, a majority of states can call for a constitutional convention to pass this amendment. That’s another reason to cast your vote for conservatives this November and every other election all the way up and down the ticket from your local dog catcher to president.

It might also be a good time to fix some other supposed vagueness in the US Constitution, like:

the right of the *people* to keep and bear arms, as well as a well regulated Militia;

abolishing the idea of “anchor babies”. Only children born of legal US citizens can automatically be granted US citizenship;

to qualify for the office of president, the person must have both parents be US citizens.

I’m not, and I do appreciate your post.

Even though I may come across as defeatist by assessing the situation as I see it, ain’t going down without a fight, definitely voting.

I do believe that all of the mechanisms of government will need to be reworked.

The constitution, as amazing a document as it is, failed to limit the power of the federal government sufficiently. It failed to take into account the evil and greed of men.

Frankly, I am for the abolishing of most of the federal government, I want the supreme court dismantled and not re-assembled. Strict term limits, no life time appointments to anything, no unelected branch of anything, anytime a perosn is replacement, 100% of their employees are also replaced.

There can be no more entrenched power.

And lastly, it is time to run the ***damn communists out of this country, and if they refuse to leave, then you know what.

"Romney, who is NOT a socialist/marxist/communist/revolutionary/sharia law loving piece of vermin..."

-----

No. He's just a Fabian Socialist/Statist/Cultist/homosexual and abortion-loving piece of vermin.

Am I supposed to be all worked up about the difference between these two scumbags? Both HAVE apponted leftist judges. Both HAVE a radical pro-abortion history. Both HAVE implemented government-run medicine. Both HAVE supported the homosexual agenda.

So the statist swine with an R next to his name is so much preferable to the statist swine with a D next to his name why? Better hair? Never hung out with Bill Ayers? OK, I'll give you that last one. But the guy who cuts my lawn never hung out with Ayers either that I know of - and I don't think he'd be all that much better than Obama either. Though come to think of it he might have a better shot than Myth.

And supporting him wouldn't send the message to the Republican party that it can jerk me and other conservatives around forever with no repurcussions.

If you can't understand that we have only ONE more opportunity to remove the commie oboma from OUR White House, and that opportunity is in our freedom to cast our vote for the candidate option we have to stop the evil that is communism/marxism/socialism NOW, than you can sit on your pie in the sky wish for the perfect candidate, which we don't have time to find, and prepare yourself for the hell that Koreans, Chinese, Cuban people suffer each and every day. Not voting IS A VOTE FOR THE ENEMY, and apparently the enemy is your man! How admirable, how principled of you...as you go down with the Titantic that is oboma and the hell he represents.

Romney is the first step in stopping further horrendous damage to this country by commie oboma. I repeat, Romney is NOT a communist/marxist/socialist/revolutionary/sharia law loving thug. OBOMA IS ALL OF THE ABOVE. To continue, we then ride Romney's rear end and make sure he follows the will of We The People. Romney is aware of what We The People want and don't want...he's not stupid. Romney wants to win and he knows We The People can make that happen. He is our option to stop the blood flow in this country NOW, and from there we can then choose a conservative to run for the next election.

We don't have time for idiots like you...if you can’ see the strategy that will save this country from mega oppression and pain, then get out of the way. We The People will fight and win this war without you. You are a lost cause, and by all means, if your candidate oboma wins, you can kiss your freedom to vote good-bye, among all others freedoms, and all your pie in the sky plans for the perfect candidate. So sorry, it will be too late for you.

I’m gonna vote my conscience and go with Romney. I guess a lot of freepers will be voting their consciences too and going 3rd party.

Someone like Virgil Goode, if the perfect storm hit, could have a legitimate chance to win the Presidency in 2012, just as Ross Perot did in 1992, before he dropped out and then re-entered the race at the 11th hour.

It would be nice to see Goode gain some traction at some point during this campaign season. He could possibly siphon votes from the weak Presidential candidates in both major parties, or at least influence the debate on several important issues.

The host party of the concentration camp into which you’re marched seems to matter a lot to you. I accept that.

To me, not so much. I’d prefer to stay out of both - though admittedly that looks increasingly like an uphill battle.

You don't know anything about concentration camps. My cousin in Lithuania was a freedom fighter in WWII. The Nazis were exterminating millons of people in Lithuania, and rounding up those freedom fighters who fought against them. The freedom fighters continued to hide in the woods and fight. After the Nazis fled Lithuania thru the front door, Joe Stalin's soldiers broke into Lithuania through the back door. The soviets rounded up the freedom fighters, shot them in front of their families and desecrated the bodies. Those who helped the freedom fighters were rounded up and taken to cocentration camps. My cousin was among those freedom fighters slaughtered, and his name and those of all the freedom fighters killed appear on a headstone of the common grave, in honor of these brave men. I have a picture of this headstone.

Don't make light of “concentration camps.” Get on your knees and pray that such horrors will never see the light of day in this country....and vote while you still can, to stop the dictator oboma, his czars, and his insane utopian plan to “fundamentally transform” this country.

I am Lithuanian. My grandparents fled to Chicago when the Soviets took over. I know all about it.

And I know that Romney’s socialist Utopianism is very bit as vile, dangerous and malignant as Obama’s more overt Marxism. Both lead to the Gulag for you and me and we need to resist both with equal fervor.
