Rasmussen: Conservative Anger Against Obamacare Hitting 'Stratospheric Levels'
Newsmax ^ | 7/2/12 | Paul Scicchitano and Kathleen Walter

Conservative interest in the presidential election hit “stratospheric levels” following last week’s Supreme Court ruling upholding Obamacare, noted pollster and author Scott Rasmussen tells Newsmax.TV.

“All that did was energize conservatives,” declared Rasmussen in an exclusive interview on Monday. “The conservative interest in the election was already much higher than that of moderates and liberals. It went up to really stratospheric levels right after the ruling. We don’t know if that will continue or if it’s just a temporary response to the news cycle.”

What else do you want people to do?

Not asking FReepers to do anything or to vote as I plan to. Just trying to observe and sometimes participate in this forum.

I have no particular candidate that I'm suggesting on FR or anywhere else but there are conservative candidates available from which to choose. If you were fishing, I'm not and have not been a Ron Paul supporter.

Yep! If Ben didn’t take the Corn Husker Bribe and Landreau didn’t take the Louisiana Purchase Bribe, Commiecare would have been Dead! But then if the Muslim Terrorist had been vetted, he wouldn’t have gotten within a thousand miles of the Oval Office! He would have been doing Rezko in their common prison cell!

The level of anger doesn’t really matter unless it’s followed by useful action. In any event, you can only vote once, at least legally. ;-)

All I gotta say is where were these angry people in 2008, when their votes would have made a difference?

They were "teaching us a lesson." Oh, boy, did we get a "lesson" - in what happens when the country turns the White House and both houses of Congress over to the Dems.

Of course, it didn't help that we had an awful candidate running the worst campaign since Bob Dole.

I understand Romney was essentially the architect of Obamacare, but anyone is better than Obama. At least we won’t have someone running the country that is trying to put us in the dumpster and make this a 3rd world country.

Step One is both throw out Obama and throw the rats out of the Senate and shift control there.

Step Two is to send a massive conservative signal to Romney with Step one!!!

Step Three is to keep pounding the message of Step Two over and over again.

This nation will not endure with Obama re-elected.
There isn’t going to be a miracle to have Romney replaced short of some unforseen event like a heart attack or unexpected development of that nature.

Primaries are over.
It’s binary now.
Obama or Romney.
A or B.
0 or 1.

Logic dictates to go with some chance over no chance.

Wasn’t fishing, was just commenting. There are conservatives to vote for, you’re correct, but unfortunately none of them ran for OR secured the number of delegates to get the nomination. Romney did and he’s who we’ve got. I do not believe we’ll have a brokered convention so that someone else can be chosen as some people think.

So the choice is easy - Obama or Romney. It’s that easy and I’d vote for a rabid dog before I’d vote for Obama.

It was anger and energy such as this that led to the revolution.

NO, not temporary.

Three birds, one stone. Judge Roberts was playing chess at a high level, while Obama and the democrats, and the press, were all playing checkers, and weren't ready for the "unexpected" ruling.

Robert's playing chess??? You must listen to inside the beltway elitists.

Please go back and listen to Mark's show from Thursday and Friday. He carefully and thoughtfully goes through the ruling in great detail. Mark is a brilliant Constitutional scholar.

He says there is NO silver-lining. He says it is the most horrible of rulings. It was quite educational listening to Levin. He will help you see just how horrible is this ruling.

Robert's was not playing chess at all, he was be a purely political animal.

On today's show Levin explains the how's and why's of Robert's decision. It will only leave you white-hot angry at Roberts.

Levin and other things I have read have left me convinced that Robert is truly an evil human being. No person with any heart could have done what Robert's did.

To be Chief Justice and do what he did to the Constitution is evil.

Look up and attend your local Tea Party meeting this month. Meet fellow patriots and channel your energies to try and save what is left of our country after Roberts pulled the rug out from under us. Here, you are only preaching to the choir.

Think you better read the link content again. The section is referring to medical devices such as pacemakers and other “life saving devices”. There are no RFID chips being implanted into patients.

Reality is a marxist kenyan in the White House. Stand your ground or run to Antarctica?

Did these Americans quit when it got tough?

“Make sure it’s an effigy of a white Obama”

Y’know... that’s a really good idea. Seriously. In the GOP ads, they should lighten his skin color a lot. He is, in fact, less black than he is white, I believe. He’s been dining out on that convenient dominent gene for too long; it would be nice if everyone knew the truth.

Does logic dictate we take the high road or the low road? No, your somewhat forced assumptions may be incorrect. Elections are in November; this is early July. Primaries are over but we FReepers are still here, living and breathing, thank God. But I did like the "binary" line.

I posted this on another thread and it speaks to the Washingtonian problem.

No solutions to problems will ever come from DC, because DC is the problem.

All each election cycle is about is which bunch of degenerate crooks, cowards, con men, and liars gets to control and redistribute the money extorted by the IRS from us chumps outside the beltway, and how much of it.

It’s plain to see what is going on in DC to anyone who has ever spent any time there.

The place is perpetually flush with cash extorted from the little guys paycheck on a scale that would outrage the Mafia.

Hundreds of thousands of Federal Apparatchiks with big smiles on their faces walk around drawing huge salaries, plus bonuses and pensions, courtesy of us dolts in the hinterland.

What has the GOP ever done when they controlled the WH and Congress that materially changed anything, or made the Federal Bureaucracy smaller?

We still have the agencies like IRS, the Department of Energy, and Education, and EPA, and to boot, they established new ones like DHS and TSA.

Anyone who tries to starve the beast is politically assassinated by propagandists from the left and right, like Gingrich was over the Government shutdown at the end of his career in Congress and again a few months ago when he tried for the nomination.

There will be nothing coming out of DC other than a bigger hand in your pocket and more limits on your freedom.

The DC problem will not be solved politically.

The FOUNDERS had no intention of establishing Universal Suffrage and DELIBERATELY did not put a right to vote in the Constitution because they knew it would lead to the collapse before us today, and make no mistake about it, when the Social Security checks stop coming, there will be a collapse.

Universal Suffrage has been enacted via Constitutional Amendments, hell, the communists are even giving illegal aliens the vote by Executive Order.

Collapse and reset are the only way out of this now, and rotating the Capital amongst the States.

There is no greater threat to the freedom and prosperity of the American Citizenry than the Federal Apparatus in Washington DC, and anyone who thinks all we have to do to change things is send the “right” people there hasn’t looked at the situation from a logical perspective at best, or at worst, is self delusional.

Electing more Republicans will solve the problem, now that’s a hoot!!
