The president's trip to the Bay Area last week made it painfully clear that the Barack Obama re-election campaign has lost its mojo.
There was no life, no personality, no memorable line or moment and no real enthusiasm in the entire fundraising foray. In short, there was no buzz.
It was like a summer rerun of a show that wasn't very interesting to begin with. Worse yet, Obama sounded like he was playing catch-up to Mitt Romney. I can't think of anything that should have him in that role, but he's acting like the underdog.

I am praying the anti American and his wife and cohorts are given a big smack down by the American people on Nov. 6th

Good.
Willie Brown is a practical-thinking establishment liberal here in SF, not one of the crazies like Barbara Lee, a nanny-state fascist like Pelosi, or an ideologue spouting the party line at the SF Chronicle (Comical) . If he says the thrill is gone, then the game is getting real.
....snicker............I guess Bo bit him in the butt
Turnabout is fair play.
LOL, I get a real kick out of these Willie Brown columns. He calls it like he sees it.
The only thrill left is in Chrissy Matthew’s thigh.
Willie Brown never liked Obama in the first place. This is not significant.
ROFLMAO
I suppose like wine one mellows with age, but the Willie I remember as Speaker of the California Assembly for all those years ( 1980 -1995?? ) was in fact the underwriter and author of the destruction of California.
Back then, he made Pelosi and Boxer look ultra conservative.
Which goes to the point we agree with . . . if Willie is saying little boy wonder has lost his mojo . . . things are not looking well for the communists
To the partial benefit of Texas, Willie's home state. Hmmmmm.....
But as to the article, nowadays, Willie gains nothing by asskissing the local liberal establishment, he knowsit and they know it, so his observation is sobering for libs in the S.F. Bay Area.
It’s been gone for Bill Clinton’s Coffee Server.
Bill and the likes have long ago selected Mandate-Mitt as the next LBJ.
I can't think of anything that should have him in that role, but he's acting like the underdog.Meme-building ping.
I got transferred to Bakersfield, CA in 1986. Was sitting in hotel room first night there and Willie Brown came on TV. He said something along the lines of, Bakersfield was so conservative when he flies over it, he wears a flak vest and helmet.
I thought, hey, maybe Bakersfield is not going to be so bad.
Hillary! From first black to first woman is the only way they can win. As long as Zero bows out gracefully, the Slave Party should be confident that the black vote will stay on the plantation. I don't think his heart was in this job nearly as much as it was Moochele's obsession. He knows the jig is up on multiple fronts and he can still get out of dodge before the cave-in then to turn around and finger the poor schmuck who wins, especially if it's Romney.

Qu’est-ce? Thrill, what thrill?
Millions of people don’t have work, millions of people are on edge, and thrill is gone!!!!
Merci
That is funny and back then, true, at least among the rural folks. They would not have thought twice to raise their shotguns had he stepped anywhere near their property
They knew then he and Moonbean and et all was destroying everything that was good in California.
Yeah, but Willie Brown said this:
—”Worse yet, Obama sounded like he was playing catch-up to Mitt Romney. I can’t think of anything that should have him in that role, but he’s acting like the underdog.”
If he can’t think of anything that puts Obama in the role of underdog, has Willie Brown even looked at Obutthole’s performance.
Hardly “practical-thinking” but, yes, I like his article in this case.
