As all of America knows by now, Obama has aggressively sought to "fundamentally transform" America -- one of the few promises he has kept from the days of 2008. Five trillion dollars of borrowing, ObamaCare passed over the objections of the majority of Americans through legislative legerdemain and special deals made with resistant politicians, failed stimulus, green programs failing left and right as taxpayers are left holding the bag, a recovery that is the most anemic on record, an America that has been sundered by the man who promises to unite us, America weaker abroad and at home -- yes, America has been fundamentally transformed. Mission Accomplished.
But how and why did Obama succeed in such a catastrophic way? That is the question that Klein successfully answers in his extremely readable and enjoyable book, with enough spicy details to satisfy the craving of anyone interested in how President Obama and those closest to him have driven us to the condition we find ourselves in as we approach November.
One of the motifs that runs throughout the book is Barack Obama's sheer level of incompetency. He has the fatal conceit of many politicians: an overweening ego. That may be a prerequisite for politicians and leaders, but when it is unleavened by a willingness to consider the views of others, it becomes a fatal conceit. And Obama has that trait in abundance.

I think... that he may not have fundamentally transformed America. It feels that way now, but it will take a generation to see if we are fundamentally transformed. One could also say that he has created great problems for America. Problems that can be resolved with the spirit of 9-11. Problems such as those that faced our forefathers—that can’t be flushed down the memory hole—we must act with the boldness of the men of days of old. The Russians and the Balkans were crushed under the iron communist heel for 75 years before it expired. One could suppose that we have been suffering the same fate, but we never knew it fully until now - and we too must suffer the same sort of crash, to some degree or another.
baraq is nothing but the front man for the CPUSA operatives who run the dimrat party.
He admitted as much. Something like he was going to be the idea guy and leave the running of the country to people who work for him.
His speeches are written for him.
His speeches are spelled out for him on the teleprompter.
Everything he does is choreographed and staged.
He and biden are window dressing to hide the actions being taken to destroy our country.

Deputy Director of Scheduling? Really? An assistant to an assistant who write a schedule?
Well, if we had been lucky enough to have Sarah, Bachman, Cain, Perry, and especially Newt (not sure about Santorum) we would not be worrying about whether any of them would be timid about taking the gloves off and showing Dear Leader to be the Narcissistic, FASCIST, Hate-Captialism/America, Neo-Commie, failure that he is.
Sadly, as it appears we are going to be saddled with a McPain/Boosh-lite wuss and RINO (Mittens) I don't hold out much hope for a down and dirty, no holds barred, campaign.
After all, he has repeated (how many times?) that O'Bummer is a "Nice Guy?"

He is the most corrupt, eeeevil, despicable, dangerous, person ever to occupy the Oval Office and reason NO. 1 why EVERYONE should do whatever we have to, to insure he does not get another 4 years to do any more damage than he has done already.
Oh, and don't look to any of our spineless, wuss, Congress-Critters to take to the airwaves and point out all of O'Bozzo's flaws and shortcomings as they are all afraid of their own shadows as welll as the Lame Stream Media.
