More U.S. troops and veterans are voicing support for President Obama in the upcoming general election, according to Reuters' report on a recent poll. The result might be a byproduct of dissatisfaction with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, concern over threats of a conflict with Iran over failed nuclear negotiations, and talk of Pentagon budget cuts.

Yes, it must be propaganda. In my volunteer work I speak to many active duty and veterans. They do not like him at all and plan to vote against him. I say vote against him because they don’t like Myth Romney much better but feel that their service to this country (NOT on Obama’s behalf) will have been wasted if Obama is re-elected and continues to take this country toward the type of government they fought against.

Whoa there pilgrim! I’ve seen lots more bumper stickers and shirts showing the opposite here in Colorado. Soldiers and family members are even wearing them on post. I asked about putting a sign in my yard but was told I can’t. Don’t believe the majority of the military support this jackass! That is a lie.

Our military people first began to swing over to the Obama camp way back when Hussein suggested they should use their own insurance to pay for medical treatment for wounds and illnesses incurred by them in service. They all were just grateful to him to be able to make more sacrifices for their country. And they certainly wouldn’t want Moochie to have to miss out on one of her vacations just because the gubmint was wasting money on care for veterans.

The social experiment they have bee using the military for has caused a lot of demoralization, and has made it a friendlier place for leftists who despise the country, but the vast majority ache for the return of honor and glory that epitomizes the United States Military. I would survey combat arms people separate from national guard admin types and other non-combat people who’s views are generally comparable to your average government bureaucrat’s who see the military as a uniformed government job.

Most,if not all,of the military people I know despise Obama with a passion. They would crawl on their bellies over broken beer bottles to vote him out.
The military has been getting more and more female & minority over the past few decades.
Both groups lean more towards the Democrats.
If true, the communist regime should be working overtime on getting the military ballots ready and mailed before the legal date. They also should make sure to get the military ballots back on time to count each and everyone of them.
I have no doubt that closer to the election, we’ll “hear” about post office mishaps, complaints of military units about not receiving the ballots on time, requests for stretching the dead lines, etc. a la ‘2000 algore in Florida.
If the military loves 0b0z0, many are certainly wrong about the communist regime fomenting violence to “postpone or cancel” the election in case the polls show a definite loss for 0b0z0.

2. There may be a shred of evidence that 'more' (as in miniscule) uniformed personnel favor Obama . . .based on the recent information that training materials are being purged of Islam critical data.
It follows that those individuals donning the uniform that willingly conform to Islamophilic ideals are currently deemed ideal candidates for promotion up the ranks and are more likely to keep that window of opportunity open by voting for the current treasonous occupant of the oval office.
Breaking the oath to protect and serve the constitution once warranted charges for treason - whereas now it opens doors to career enhancement in the military.
Based on nothing more than my personal opinion, I would think women/minorities in the military would be more likely than their civilian counterparts to vote Republican; there have been a lot of minorities in the military for decades, and I think they have their act together better than many civilians of any color.
I wonder what anyone in the service felt when Obama’s daughter was parading around (in front of cameras) with a peace sign T-shirt.

As far as I can tell, not one of the JCS have ever served in harms way, thus it does not surprise when one reads how these COWARDLY, snakes in the grass and WUSSES have advanced the INANE and INSANE Rules of Engagement which are causing untold casualties among our military; supported the repeal of DADT; refuse to stand and identify who is our ENEMY; practice "Political Correctness" and "Multiculturalism" to an extreme level (Major Hassan KILLING and wounding all those military personnel--while screaming "Alah Akbar"--was "WORK PLACE VIOLENCE" dontcha know?); as well as so supporting or conversely, not opposing so many of the HATE AMERICA/MILITARY, Dear Leader's agenda such as increasing the Military's Health Care Costs, eliminating Combat Pay, cutting deeply in the Defense Budget, etc.
As far as the rank and file go, I'm willing to bet 75% dislike him and would not vote for a Neo-Commie, Islami-Jihadist-supporter/appeaser, provided of course their votes were/will be, counted.
This veteran and every veteran or active duty I talk to simply despise Obama.

Lets see............You sit down a group of soldiers with a reporter (soldiers have name tags on them) and ask them if they support the Commander in Chief and expect an honest answer?? Put them in a voting booth with total privacy and anonimity and see what the results are. This is why the Gay Marriage failed in California because it is too easy to be politically correct when polled but a completely different thing to go in a voting booth and pull a lever without consequences. The Stars and Stripes used to be a good newspaper but it too has been tainted by the powers that be and by both sides. I’ll bet that military ballots are going to be thrown out again this year because the current administration does not want to count them!!
I’m just outside of Ft Bragg, NC. I see lots of Obama bumper stickers on cars with other military related stickers and cars with the NC Retired license plates.
If Obama is pulling 90% of the black vote in the general populace why shouldn’t he also pull the majority of the black military vote.

Why do you think the media never gives us the actual facts on the military vote AFTER each election, or introduces those PAST votes into these type stories, although they love doing these speculative, PRE-election stories always intended to create an impression that THIS time, those conservative GIs are turning against the GOP?
