"The Filipino military is not even a threat to anyone."

Of course not. They are a third-world country and had the stupidity to kick out their greatest ally/protector.

If China wants them, fine. I'm sick of spending our blood and treasure on such ungrateful short-sighted peoples. Yes, I know it's more complex than that, but as long as we have our Tridents, I'm good. Let China become a regional power. I doubt they will cause too much trouble because they want the world to buy their products.

I also say pull our thousands of troops out of South Korea, Japan, and parts of Europe. Let them spend their bucks to defend their own people. Again, it's complicated, but I think we could bring so many troops home and give them priority for jobs. If I were King of the World for just one day!...har.

We still have troops in Mindanao. This has the potential of dragging us into their squabble over a reef.

I don’t know why we stillhave troops in Europe or Japan and I know we already got booted from the Philippines. But I think we should still help South Korea as much as they need to counter North Korea. (not as many troops as we have there of course)
