Yep. What you described is where I have been for a while. I always expected Romney to get the nominee but did not expect to happen the way it did. If conservatives continue to split the vote and can’t even unify around a Santorum or a Gingrich or get a strong enough candidate that forces such a unification then frankly we don’t deserve the Presidency. So we don’t give up - we regroup and recruit better stronger candidates and replace RINOs with conservatives in Congress. It’s a marathon not a sprint.

Well, Obama is doing a great job of being stinky. It would sure help Mitt if he would himself try to refrain from being stinky. However what’s this I see, one of his campaign spokesbeasts (and not the gay one who left recently) has called the Christian Coalition homophobic? That’s the way to charm ‘em, Mitt.

I was responding to a comment that such a vote would somehow (unexplained) weaken the liberal agenda.

If Bill Clinton had won with 53% of the vote instead of 43%, do you think he'd have been hit with the Republican Revolution? He was vulnerable because "symbolic protest votes" denied to him AND to Bush made it clear where his political support WAS LACKING, and that 57% of the voters voted against him. When liberals lose, their agenda is weakened; Romney is a liberal that REPUBLCANS would be responsible for electing. If Obama is elected in a race where 66% (best case scenario) of Americans voted AGAINST him, his enemies in his own party will have more pull in opposing him, and his enemies in the other party will, as well. Being a minority in political vote count AFFECTS THE POWER DYNAMICS. Does that explain it to you?

However, I’m happy to have given you an opportunity to hawk your seething Romney rage for the 10,000th time.

The same MO Romney supporters had here four years ago: attributing any rejection of him to shallow things like rage, hatred, anger, bigotry, childishnes -- anything but the truth: Attribute my rejection of him to the fact that he is a demonstrated liberal with a record of advancing the very causes I've been voting Republican all these years to OPPOSE.

You think my motive is rage? I know that my motive is common sense.

Sarah Palin appeared to be that shining star — until Democrats made her an offer she couldn’t refuse. She didn’t even dare to put in a bid. We wouldn’t be messing around with Mitt Romney now if she had.

And I can eat mayo right out of the jar.

Ewww. :p
I hate mayo.. but I have grown a tolerance to it since in Japan.. since they eat it on anything from a pancake to their fries..

(I went the Miracle Whip route..) But, sadly, there IS no Miracle Whip here :p

“Sarah Palin appeared to be that shining star — until Democrats made her an offer she couldn’t refuse.”

Please excuse my ignorance, but are you referring to McCain and the rest of the Democrats having her run as VP?

The fail later argument doesn’t work for me. I’ve considered it. But I have two kids and I’d rather we deal with this crap now, rather than potentially push it off on them.

The analogy I like is that we are on a boat heading to a water fall. Obama is steering to the bring with the throttle wide open, full military power.

Romney would prefer to back off to 90, maybe 95% throttle :-).

I’m with Obama, let’s hit that waterfall in a full blaze of glory and call it our Thelma and Louise moment. (Plus then he gets the blame).

The difference is the Democrats and sheeple will be surprised when we start falling, but we’ll have food and savings and guns, especially guns.

I’m talking about the Palin bid for 2012 that never came to pass. She was hinting about it, but the word on the street was that Democrats promised to savage her family in the media.

“Romney is and always has been the enemy of the Tea Party. He is the Trojan Horse sent by the GOP-E to destroy the Tea Party and all that we stand for. The GOP-E is the enemy.”

I could never agree more :/

No, that’s Magic Fingers’ way of responding to the blubber hereon by some who have had a special valve installed so they can blow smoke up their own a$$es, telling all that God smiles especially on them because they’re not going to vote for Romney...and that He frowns on anyone who thinks otherwise.

Readers, observe, where the behavior of Romney supporters speaks volumes about Romney's fundamental contempt for conservatives.

To prevent a total loss to the dems or GOP-e, we must continue the tea party rebellion into November and beyond. Whatever else you may do, you must turn out and vote straight tea party conservative down ticket!!

AMEN!

If O thinks it's hard getting his agenda thru now; just wait!

Romney is a deceived MORMON.

Screw both parties. The Tea Party may fade away as well but the concept of the individualist will never be beaten. It’s in our DNA and it will eventually prevail.

Romney by chance may have a few decent ideas (he was no slouch as a businessman) but is he gonna p*ss it all away in libertinism and/or big spending pipe dreams?

Mitt! You’re going to have to try harder than that to be “severely conservative” my friend.
