Wow, that’s too rich. Obama goes out of his way to trash their state and tourism industry and they say please Sir may I have another. Yikes.

Don’t forget that all polls oversample the demokrats by 10% or so...like 45% Dems, 30% GOP and 25% Independents...

He might win Las Vegas, but the rest of the state is pretty much “Anybody But Obama.”

Major P, you are entirely correct.

Nevada is an economic bellwether state, because it depends on a vibrant national economy for folks to have disposable income to roll their way.

By favoring Mister Obama, they are rooting for national financial ruin, and...

...Nevada would be among the very first to go completely under (although they are doing predictably miserably at the moment).

And Nevada has a very large Mormon population.

I do not at all like Mitt Romney. But I will vote against Barack Obama; however, living in Illinois my vote won’t make any difference at all, because the Obastard will carry Illinois in a landslide. I may vote for Howdy Doody as a write-in.

As much as I despise Mittens, I despise Obama even more; and if I thought for a minute that pulling the lever for Romney would give him a ghost of a chance to carry Illinois I would do it. But it won’t. So, I’ll probably end up voting for a name I find in the phone book, as a write-in. Sadly, it will make no difference here in Illinois.

There’s something fishy here. Rasmussen says Obama leads RomneyCare by 9; but Dean Heller (R) leads Shelly Berkely (D) in the Senate race by 11 - 52-41. So the same Nevadans are gung ho to reelect Heller AND Obama????

That’s Las Vegas baby, all NV.

Not even close.

Washoe and Clark Counties decide who wins because of their population concentration.

SEIU, IBEW, and the Culinary unions call the shots here.

Nevada is mostly Red except for those two Counties.

Nevada has changed dramatically in the past 20 years, mostly for the worse. For years, it was an individualistic state which drew many people looking for a second chance at life. It voted mostly Republican and had a strong Libertarian streak. It wasn’t conservative in the way most understand the term, as it had a large number of divorced people and people who lived alone. There were ethnic and religious groups, including many Asians and Mormons, but they were rather insular and mostly wanted to be left alone. Most people, regardless of personal lifestyle or economic status, had no taste for Big Government.

The state has changed demographiclally. The biggest change is immigration from the central America, including a large number of illegal aliens. Also, Las Vegas drawn African-Americans from southern California. Large numbers of baby boomer white liberals, who were once a negligable presence in the state, have come to retire and brought their left-leaning outlooks with them. Right now, the dominant issue is the housing crisis, with nearly two thirds of Las Vegas homeowners saddled with underwater mortgages. As a result, Las Vegas is resembling Los Angeles with slot machines. There has been increased gang activity there and the city is experiencing a historic crime wave. So-called experts disagree on the cause. In addition, Las Vegas is a larger share of the electorate than ever before and the rest of the state is consistantly outvoted. These developments put Republicans in a difficult spot that they’re not accustomer to in a once-friendly state.

Let's see who do I support.
Obama/Obamacare.
Romney/ Romneycare.
Some people in America don't deserve this.

Anyone who doesn’t believe that throwing the Marxists out in November will be a rough and tumble fight to the death doesn’t know the history of dictators once they have achieved power. Obama and his gang of Chicago style cutthroats are walking talking examples of what to expect.

Nevada has changed dramatically in the past 20 years, mostly for the worse.

Looking at Nevada's history though, it has picked the winner in every presidential election since 1980.
