Does Elena Kagen have a $20 million commitment to destroying the American Republic?
Yahoo Answers ^ | 4/24/2012 | Alan M Gottlieb

Posted on 05/01/2012 4:52:27 PM PDT by IbJensen

What would you say if you learned that a member of the highest court in the land has spent the last 30 years openly advocating for the destruction of the US Constitution and even went so far as to accept $20 million from Shariah Law proponents to accomplish her goal?

That Supreme Court Justice is Elena Kagan.

The year after Ronald Reagan entered the Oval Office with the goal of restoring America to greatness; Elena Kagan penned a telling and disturbing senior thesis titled "To the Final Conflict: Socialism in New York City, 1900-1933." In that body of work, Kagan lamented that "a coherent socialist movement is nowhere to be found in the United States"; and that," no "radical party" had yet "attained the status of a major political force." Kagan went on to sound a rally cry for "those who, more than half a century after socialism's decline, still wish to change America."

Apparently, this was no mere college dalliance, as the Elena Kagan has spent the rest of her career working to remove the underpinnings of freedom and destroy the American Constitution from within. And Kagan's grand plan has worked very well indeed.

After graduate school Kagan went on to become Dean of Harvard Law, where she removed Constitutional Law classes from the curriculum, and replaced those necessary and time honored classes with required studies of international law. And in what appears to be a game of using a mutual enemy's resources to accomplish ones' true objective, Kagan also accepted a $20 million grant from Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal - a noted Shariah Law proponent - to implement an "Islamic Studies" program.

a leftist who understands she has to trash the Constitution to install socialism. It's sad that she sits on the highest court where her job is to uphold the Constitution, but this is where we are folks.

The fact that Obama appointed her shows exactly what kind of traitor he is.

I have only one simple question - did one single GOP Senator stand up ready to filibuster this commie during confirmation hearings? Rhetorical question................both parties are working on the the destruction of America (one party knows it and the other goes along to get along).

Holy Shiite, a traitor to American law and justice has her skinny butt on our Supreme Court. When will GOP Senators ever stop these bad choices by Democrat presidents to protect our America?

Wow, we ought to vote her out! Oh crud, we can’t. Well when her term is up, that’s it! Oh no, forgot they are there for life. Well, at least the Supreme Court can easily be overriden by congress. Oh shoot, that’s impossible.
Checks and balances? Weren’t we supposed to have them somehow?

It was well known that Kagan removed the basic common law classes that all freshmen had been required to take, and replaced them with courses in international law and “positive law”—i.e., the law is whatever the rulers say it is.

I mentioned that frequently at the time she was up for confirmation in the Senate. Needless to say, the Republicans folded immediately, as they also did with the Wise Latina.

The Republicans have done little or NOTHING to block activist judges from our courts. In fact, Earl Warren, possibly the worst appointment ever, was a Republican appointee—as was that gay activist from New Hampshire.

Bush deserves credit for his three appointees, but they are the exceptions rather than the rule.

I agree. Impeach her.

Was her thesis available to the Judicial committee at her hearing?

If not the justification for her impeachment continues to grow.

That is why his elegibility is so important. If he was never elegible, he was never president. All of his appointments would be voided as would all of the bills he has signed. Proving him a fraud is the surest way to undo the damage he has done.

These are the Republicans who voted for Elena Kagan, who was confirmed by the Senate by a vote of 63-37:

Richard Lugar
Lindsey Graham
Judd Gregg
Susan Collins
Olympia Snowe

That makes 5 Senate Republicans more liberal than Democrat Ben Nelson who voted NAY.

If they had voted conservative, she would have been filibustered off the bench.

All the more reason for conservatives to pump resources into ousting Lugar rather than waste anything on Romney.

Olympia Snowe is retiring and her seat is open this year. Will a conservative white knight emerge to fill her seat? From Maine?

Judd Gregg already retired and was replaced by Kelly Ayotte. One can only hope she is sterner stock. Her early endorsement of Romney was not a good sign.

Susan Collins and Lindsey Graham are up in 2014. A good time for the Tea Party to show some mid-term muscle, if they aren’t too demoralized by a potential Romney presidency.

When you need the dirty deed of destroying America done, just elect a black man who appoints lesbians, Hispanics and blacks that cannot be criticized or impeached!

No, I think you’re thinking of Snowe who’s retiring. Collins has a couple more years to make that decision.

Toomey replaced Specter in PA, so that was at least one improvement.

Ginsburg was confirmed 96-3, so I guess we have to give our guys some credit for growing some bigger cajones since then. Sotomayor got just a couple more Republican votes than Kagan, but at least she wasn’t as blatantly and obviously unqualified for the job.

“What would you say if you learned that a member of the highest court in the land has spent the last 30 years openly advocating for the destruction of the US?”

Is that supposed to be unusual?

The more interesting question is how many US marshals will be willing to die on a hilltop for Kagan? My immediate guess is zero. When the bullets start flying, US marshals will ignite rocket boosters in their butts to propel them 20 miles away from the action in under 20 seconds.

"The [decline of Socialism] story is a sad but also a chastening one for those who, more than half a century after socialism’s decline, still wish to change America."

How prophetic that she would use the word "CHANGE".. Where have I heard that word before? She's speaking the TRUE meaning of the word 'Change' which Obama uses.. Changing our FORM of government, NOT the 'business as usual' syndrome in D.C. as all the mindless sheep voters in 2008 believed.
