Please excuse me while I go pray and pray I never
have to prey.
“What would you say if you learned that a member of the highest court in the land has spent the last 30 years openly advocating for the destruction of the US?”
Is that supposed to be unusual?
The more interesting question is how many US marshals will be willing to die on a hilltop for Kagan? My immediate guess is zero. When the bullets start flying, US marshals will ignite rocket boosters in their butts to propel them 20 miles away from the action in under 20 seconds.
Tommy Lee Jones makes fantasy movies...
(Just having fun with you, FRiend.)
How prophetic that she would use the word "CHANGE".. Where have I heard that word before? She's speaking the TRUE meaning of the word 'Change' which Obama uses.. Changing our FORM of government, NOT the 'business as usual' syndrome in D.C. as all the mindless sheep voters in 2008 believed.
The culture of impunity stops at corruptions edge. Both sides can equally blackmail the other.
I don’t know, but Sonya Sotomayor makes her look almost human.
Indonesian Go Home!
Lugar is getting his pink slip next week.
I hope.
"..Finally, I would like to thank my brother Marc, whose involvement in radical causes led me to explore the history of American radicalism in the hope of clarifying my own political ideas."
WTH?
No one could be bothered to vet her?
Richard Mourdock is plenty Conservative.
Lugar has to go.
You can't sustain a successful filibuster if you don't have the votes needed to avoid cloture in the Senate. The Republicans didn't because of turncoat RINOS like the following who voted for Kagan's confirmation:
Republicans Susan Collins of Maine, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Judd Gregg of New Hampshire, Richard Lugar of Indiana, and Olympia Snowe of Maine). Those voting against her included 36 Republicans and one Democrat (Ben Nelson of Nebraska).
One may also want to know just how much Oliver North knew of the cocaine trade... it’s quite axle-wrapped.
The prerequisite for any Republican House or Senate leader must be that at some point in their life, they must have punched somebody in the mouth.
I'm tired of “leadership” that either doesn't know how to fight, or has some blackmail material hanging over his head.
She was confirmed in summer 2010 and it looks like Red State and other sites published the thesis a few months before in May, 2010. Free Republic even had a bunch of threads on it...

The fact that she was confirmed shows exactly what kind of traitor members of congress are.
Well dang. I missed it.
The fact that she was confirmed shows exactly what kind of traitor members of congress are.
The Liberals have no shame, decency, or intelligence.
Problem is, we are stuck with her for MANY years. Ugh.
