Rush says 20% self-ID as liberal and 40% self-ID as conservative.. so I ask why are the Democrat and the Republican so often 50-50, more or less? Like Obama and Romney.

Rush went on to talk about but not name apolitical voters.. not the independent apartisan voters who do not ID with either Party but know the issues (there is recent book that defined partisan, apartisan, and apolitical voters; by Dalton)

IMO the "nonpartisan" media other than just the MSM heavily influence apolitical voters by respecting PRESIDENT! Obama and parroting the tedious lies about Bush, Cheney, and Tea Party types. Mostly the "nonpartisan" media do it on purpose to influence the apolitical voters who do not pay attention to issues and never listen to conservative talk radio but love idiotic TV shows.

Suspect in custody after standoff with Auburn police This happened about a block away from me. I heard the gunshots. Hubby did, too. We were outside building a frame for our birdnetting over our blueberry bushes. There were two quick shots and then after about two or three minutes, there were two or three more which sounded slightly farther away. Anyway, the police were there soon and I didn't investigate. The time was between 6:30 and 7:00. It was after 6:30 because I had finished watching Jeopardy!

I don’t blame you. This was a first. Auburn has generally been separate from junk like that. We had very little unrest in the 60s. Only one or two incidents of streaking and that’s about it! Funny thing, behind him, on the other side of a little creek, is the sheriff’s house. The perp had no chance. Plus, the police were on the scene as fast as they could possibly be (granted, someone on scene with another gun a la The Rifleman could have taken him out immediately).
