MetroWeekly.com is exposing the whole truth that Washington Post would not reveal:

Mitt Romney’s campaign tonight announced that it has hired Richard Grenell, an out gay former George W. Bush administration official, to serve as the presumptive Republican presidential nominee’s “national security and foreign policy spokesman,” according to a report from The Washington Post that did not mention Grenell’s sexual orientation.

Grenell served through September 2008 in the Bush administration as a spokesman to the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations — and told The Advocate‘s Kerry Eleveld as he left the administration that it was his hope that New York would have marriage equality soon and that he would one day be able to marry his partner, Matt Lashey. The couple has been together 10 years. . . .

Andrew Sullivan, who had endorsed Obama’s 2008 run, wrote of the news, “For Romney to have an openly gay spokesman is a real outreach to gay Republicans, a subtle signal to moderates, and the Santorum faction’s reaction will be worth noting.”

Grenell is not just gay, but a gay activist who pushes for same-sex marriages.

At the end of Grenell’s service in the Bush administration, he took a notable whack at the administration, telling The Advocate‘s Kerry Eleveld of his effort to have his partner, Matt Lashey, listed in the United Nations’ Blue Book, which is “a reference guide of contact information for different member states of the United Nations as well as diplomatic personnel and their spouses.”

Grenell had attempted to have Lashey’s name added several times, to no avail. He told The Advocate back in 2008, “What put me over the edge was a friend and colleague who met her spouse after I was already with my partner — they got married and subsequently were put into the Blue Book in a matter of days.”

The State Department eventually told him that the Defense of Marriage Act prevented the listing. Although he protested the decision behind the scenes, Lashey’s name was not ever added, which led to his coming forward to criticize the treatement publicly as he left his post.

HuffPost has noted that since the choice, Grenell has scrubbed his Twitter account and website of offensive material...

When he worked for Bush, was he able to keep his personal perversion separate from his duties? Other than his affliction, is he the best person for the job? Will he put the good of the country ahead of his consideration of those like him? He’s not in a position to be blackmailed, as he’s “out” already.

Those are the questions that need to be answered.

“See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil”......they simply sit in their seat and play one or all of these to retain those seats.

When I was on a Town Hall call with a Representative running for Senate, I was astounded how the woman spoke to this Senator as if they were school girls before their “Idol”. One, a school teacher, actually asked the Senator which boxes she should check because she didn't know who to vote for! Too many voters do not see these Representatives are suppose to “work” for us....not put on a pedestal!

We have so many voting who should not be doing so....(sigh).

So you're cool with a government composed of morally flawed individuals as long as the taxpayer isn't paying them to advocate immoral causes between 8 and 5 (we know they will anyway)? Reminds me of the choir boy who was fine during the service but strangled puppies when he got home. We want good people, not just people who don't actually act bad while on the job.

Getting rid of Obama, if he can do it, is about all I can think of.

Those are the questions that need to be answered.

The answers are pretty obvious......show one thing...do another. His 'choice' for that perversion will and does permeate all other decisions....the Political "Gay Agenda' is called that for a reason.

We agree, basically, but here’s the conumdrum: I do want to give 0 his walking papers, like everyone here and you, but the best conclusion we can hope for is exchanging the devil we know for ... the devil we know.
I don’t know how Romney could be any worse unless one objects on principle to being stabbed in the back (ala McCain) instead of in the chest. So he does this and confirms again that it will be: “Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.”

The problem is Romney thinks he should hire on the basis of sexual orientation.

At this time that is exceedingly unwise. Remember what the voting public did to Republicans when they thought we were overrun with pedophiles.

Romney could have easily gotten a friend to pick this guy up for later ~ just kept him off the rolls during the remainder of his campaign.

It's stupidity like this that proves that Romney is undeserving of our votes.

The voting public doesn't care about homosexuality and pedophilia among Democrats ~ they do care about it when it comes to Republicans, and with the voting public almost evenly divided 50/50, it takes less than 1% of them to make an election.

Romney is doing this so the entire Republican party can be brought down in the next election.

What a horribly bitter old man ~ bet his dad made him do girls rather than what he obviously wanted to do ~ dress up in fancy clothes and primp for his boyfriends.

Madcow found a truffle...

"Maddow certainly didn't think Grenell's tweets were so "tongue-in-cheek" or "humorous," pointing out the ones written about her during Friday night's show, while asking if the Romney campaign sees "any sign that they understand that a long, string of really nasty, sexist tweets about Callista Gingrich's appearance might be alienating to people who might otherwise consider voting for Mr. Romney." -- HuffPo

Get over it. You idiots are driving me away.

“Contemplate the mangled bodies of your countrymen, and then say 'what should be the reward of such sacrifices?' Bid us and our posterity bow the knee, supplicate the friendship and plough, and sow, and reap, to glut the avarice of the men who have let loose on us the dogs of war to riot in our blood and hunt us from the face of the earth? If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

This is kinda old news, isn't it?

Besides, why wouldn't Bishop Romney hire a faggot, transvestite, puppy humper, or anyone else he thought would help his campaign?

Bishop Romney is nothing but a liberal democrat who was too far back in the pack to make it within the fascist democrat party and so has run as a Vichy Republican. His record shouts down everything he says and everything the peanut gallery cheerleaders have to say about him. No one who is anything other than a run of the mill fascist democrat would have pushed RomneyCare and queers being married one to another. Period.

Intolerance? You may be right

Your post 10, 34, 68, 80, 84 and others show you have a preetty strong level of tolerance for gays and the homo agenda.

You apparently can’t distinguish that what they do in private or in public is a national disgrace and conservatives do not tolerate it.

So - take your complaints about intolerance to the DUmp.

The intolerance around here has gotten pretty ridiculous.

There is no "tolerance" in the U.S. It's a lie perpetrated by the left. Every state that had the freedom to vote on homosexuals "getting married" voted "No way!"
The others weren't given a choice. "Tolerance" was pushed on them by force.

Homosexuality is not only repulsive, it's infested with disease. Name one good thing that's come from it. Don't worry about grabbing a pencil and paper for that one. They won't be necessary.
Now, grab an entire notebook and a new box of pencils, and list all the bad things that have come from it. If you're lucky, you may have your list completed by midnight.

People pretend to show tolerance for fear of the PC thought control police, but pull them aside where they can't be overheard, and it's an entirely different story!
