Actually during the Falklands War America was technically neutral.
It was irksome as Brits to watch Jeanne Fitzpatrick try to be even handed at the UN.
Secretly though, the US was helping the UK.

What’s with Obama? He’s STOOPID.
But he’s also pretty arrogant, having cruised up the affirmative action pipeline all of his life - well, probably except for the phase during which he was milking the foreign student thing - and doesn’t believe he needs to learn anything about anything.
Also, he despises Latin Americans and despises the English, so why should he bother to learn the name of the islands these despicable peons were fighting over?
The only good thing is that he’s probably admiring Argentina for doing what he’d like to do (seize an oil company or two), and his ignorance has probably even made him the laughing stock of Buenos Aires.

Much overstated? I have yet to see one iota of intelligence emanating from BHO. What marks an intelligent man? Keen and innovative insights; encyclopedic knowledge perhaps. A sharp wit maybe. The ability to make a captivating, off-the-cuff speech. I have never seen any of this from our president. He is strictly a series of socialistic cliches read, rather poorly, off a teleprompter.

Secretly though, the US was helping the UK.That's true and for what it's worth the American people were 100% behind the Brits.
