We will not waste our limited resources on FR in support for a liberal progressive LIAR
Click here to pledge your support! ^ | April 12, 2012 | Jim Robinson

A reminder for those who are not receiving the message:

Romney is a pathological compulsive liar. Lie after lie papered over with more lies. Doesn’t even flinch when caught in bald faced lies, simply tells another big whopper to cover up or dodge the issue. Funny thing, the man actually seems to believe his own latest lies and simply ignores the glaring record of his past actions/lies. And you have true blue establishment elite RINO Republicans like Karl Rove enabling and backing up his lies. Their motivation is simply to hang on to power (and riches) any way they can.

I’ve stated many times since Romney started running for the presidency way back when that I’d never vote for him and I will not. He cannot lie his way out of his decades long record of support for abortion, Roe v Wade, planned parenthood, gay rights, gun control, global warming, amnesty, liberal judges, big government, compulsory or socialized health care (RomneyCommieCare), mandates, Keynesian economics, support and approval of TARP, bailouts, stimulus packages, i.e, every damn liberal progressive issue that comes down the pike.

C’mon. These are the reasons the tea party sprang up and the reasons he and Rove loathe the tea party and our tea party conservative candidates. Romney famously expressed his loathing for Reagan-Bush conservatism several years ago when he was trying to run to the left of Ted Kennedy and now he’s cloaking himself in Reagan conservatism, knowing full well that it’s a lie, but he knows it’s the only way he can possibly win, er buy the Republican nomination.

Screw Romney!! I absolutely will not support or vote for a proven compulsive liar with a known record of abortion and big government socialism, liberal appointments, etc. He still lies about RomneyCommieCare today. Calls it a “conservative solution.” Get real!!

Listen to what Ronald Reagan had to say about the elites pushing socialism on America via compulsory health insurance:

Ronald Reagan speaks out against RomneyCommieCare

There will be no campaign for this Massachusetts liberal liar on FR!!

Damn the libs and RINOS, full steam ahead!!

But no matter what happens we must turn out in November to vote IN as many conservatives and vote OUT as many rats as possible at all levels of government. If we don't have a conservative at the top of the ticket we must turn out anyway and vote straight conservative DOWN ticket!! Just think of it an off cycle election and pour on the TEA!! It'll be doubly important that we control both houses of congress and as many statehouses as possible.

Restore the 10th amendment!! Impeach the leftist president whoever he may be!! Restore Liberty!! Rebellion comes from the bottom up!!

WOO HOO!! I CAN SEE NOVEMBER FROM MY HOUSE!!

No Bama!! No Romney!! Go tea party rebellion!!

Once again you are the voice of reason.

It pains me to witness this circular firing squad.

Maybe it is because Newt is just so, you know, imperfect or something.

He is still in the race, but he is invisible.

A vote for him , a donation sent his way, is a rejection of Romney.

It is an act of rebellion.

But it is more fun to just curse the darkness than to light a candle.

Romney is the lesser of two evils...

Not. That's the biggest piece of illogic that's being sold to conservatives right now.

Check Mitt's governing record and compare it to any other liberal's. The man is an abject Socialist in a Republican jersey. He is NOT the lesser of two evils.

A 'friend' operating under false colors is capable of doing FAR more damage than an avowed enemy who is overtly trying to do you in.

Dubya also got us Roberts and Alito instead of Kagan and Sotomayor.

That is a VERY important point! And don't forget the federal district judges.

A federal judge can have influence for decades. I shudder to think who Obama will appoint should he get four more years.

You are one clueless dude. Since when is PRO HOMO, PRO abortion, anti-traditional marriage, big gov't socialistic healthcare a Republican platform? Mitt says he's a republican and you believe THE known LIAR. Man are you easily duped and on something that is so obvious! When will you start thinking for yourself?!

Thank you KittenClaws. IMO, great decisions. (obviously... ;-) )

LOL!

It was easier to make than the thought of voting for Mitt.

A thought that might be helpful to some of the ABO’s around here (of which I was one when I woke this morning).

An ‘R’ does not mean a win for conservatives.

Conservatives have found themselves in the minority within their own ‘R’ party. And just why are we in the minority?

Because when we are given the ABO choice we take it, that's why.

As conservatives, if we choose to stand by what we profess to be our principles then our choice is clear - we can not vote against those principles. In voting for a lesser evil, we betray ourselves while creating a minority of those who stood by them.

Romney = A BIGGER affirmative action lover than Ted Kennedy.

The Constitution = ObamaCare + RomneyCare?

voter fraud - Telling the American people he's a conservative is a fraud

gas prices - Never even talks about how HE plans on lowering them. Newt has though.

By the way, Newt's still in it. Anything good to say about him?

Romney versus Obama for 2012. Successful business man versus useless government twit — it could be worse. And here’s the advantage: We don’t like or trust Romney. Liking and trusting politicians is what gets you into trouble, but we won’t fall for that trap with Romney. He’s just a tool to us. All politicians are tools. Big tools. Dangerous tools. Ones we have to be cautious using, and we already know to be very cautious about Romney.

“...anyone who thinks that the country would be as bad off with Romney as with an America hating, affirmative action loving, Jew hating racist who is intent on pissing on the Constitution, promoting voter fraud while starting a race war, and intentionally driving gas prices thru the roof, then I DO question your judgement.”

Bears repeating. I truly believe that another 4 years of Obama would make the first 4 seem, to conservatives, like a walk through the tulips. Historically the second term for an American President is “free range” much as Obama has already told Russia.

Like it or not we need to buckle down and beat this Socialist, Progressive, Communist in office before he destroys our country.

I don’t like it but reality is reality. I think I’d vote for the devil himself if I thought he could beat Obama.

Romney does not want to repeal ObamaCare. He just wants to rename it.

He is the one who wrote the USA Today column suggesting a national individual mandate on healthcare.

Romney is not the guy we want.

Whatever else Romney [ is | isn't | was | might still be but isn't fessing up ] he has NEVER drawn a bright line of separation between himself and the modern day priests of Molech.

There are no anti-life votes in my house; none for anti-lifers, none for anti-life enablers, none for anti-life financiers.

What I found interesting is the dozens of FReepers (many oldtimers too) that were zotted in January over a period of 3-4 weeks. Why? They verbalized a negative thought against Newt.

I went back to the infamous bugzapper thread of ‘06. Found it interesting that more FReepers rode the lightning over Newt now than ever did back when Rudy was running.

And how strange that was! To have 5-10 years (or more) of FReeping go down the tubes over Newt?

Around here you either learn to be that yes man, or keep your opinions to yourself.

You don’t understand then. A Republican who does the same things as Obama will get support for what R’s currently hold back in the house, and somewhat in the senate. With A Republican (in name only) leading they way they will feel obligated to vote differently than they do now. You will see more destruction from a Liberal Republican because of that support. And it will put conservatives back 20 years.

It is a bit silly to call those who want to defeat Obama with the GOP nominee “socialists” or socialist enablers.

Because some people apparently can tell Jim Rob “FU” which seems refreshing to have such freedom, I will take the liberty of expressing my opinion.

I get the distrust and dislike of Romney, which comes from his record as Mass. governor. He either is or was a liberal, or he did whatever it took to get elected in the most liberal state. That is not a record to impress conservatives.

He did oppose the dem legislature a lot and he was more conservative than a dem there but still he was way too liberal for us as governor. Pro abortion, Romneycare, etc.

However, the scary part of the Romney hatred here is pretending that Romney has not been pushing a conservative platform in this election, and that he ran to the right of McCain last time, as well.

If you listen to any Romney speech, it is a conservative speech front to back. It is a speech no one on FR can dislike IF you read only the speech and I tell you Gingrich or Reagan gave it.

So then it comes down to that Romney is a liar. All politicians are liars. Romney has shown himself to be a chameleon.

But this is where the Romney haters leave me behind: Their conviction that he is 100% liberal, that despite everything he is running on, he will run as a conservative, get in office and support Obamacare, abortion, etc.

There does come a point where you have to read the candidates’ positions, and to do so and then reach the conclusion that Romney’s policies would match Obama’s is far fetched at best.

You don’t have to like him, you don’t have to trust him, don’t have to vote for him but yes, Barack Hussein Obama is worse. And the platform of a major party candidate means something (as does his record).

I didn't say it was an easy or good choice... I would still rather have the workout guy who turned around the olympics and has a record of turning around failed businesses, than the guy intent on driving the country into the ground so that it can be “reborn.” If Obama gets his way, do not be surprised if there is a new constitutional convention and we get a new constitution that does not prohibit him from “running” for reelection over and over again... I'm not sure who the "they" is here. The people are the ones doing the voting and they are nominating the guy they are nominating.

That's a bunch of crap. Beginning the day after McLame lost to the commie, the inside the beltway GOP elites have been pushing O'Romney because "it's his turn," "he's the only one who can beat O'Bama," "he's the only one with the campaign and financial infrastructure to take on Obama," blah, blah, blah. Although many of these GOP elitists claimed to be neutral during the primary process, the reality is that they have been working behind the scenes to not only shove Romney up our asses, but to sabotage the Tea Party and discourage real conservatives from entering the race. There's a reason why no real electable conservatives have entered the race and that's because they understand that while the the GOP elites pretend to be neutral, they have and will do everything they can to push potential competition under the bus. Instead of encouraging conservatives to run, the party elites have done everything they can to discourage real conservatives by their not-so-subtle support Romney.

I am not voting for Romney. The decision for me is easy because I live in an uber blue state that Romney will not win no matter how far left he shifts once he get the nomination. But even if I lived in a meaningful state, I don't think I could vote for this liar. I have principles and if I were to ignore those principles and vote for Romney, than I would be no better than him.

They will do whatever it takes to minimize the conservative movement. They want us to go along (again). I have my convictions. I am very patriotic like many Americans are. I just cannot throw away my beliefs. Once you give up to Rove; what good are you to them. Next election, they know that we will accept another liberal republican. When does it stop. No more helping the Gop-e from a grassroots person. Thank you Jim for standing up. Like Newt, you and him are getting hit by a lot of sides. God Bless you. You have a lot of us who support you. We say enough of the lies.

I'm not sure who the "they" is here

Did you sent in a large donation to Newt? If not, you are 'they' and, therefore, part of the problem.

The people are the ones doing the voting and they are nominating the guy they are nominating.

You think LIES from other candidates like mitt and santo have anything to do with that along with their scare tactics?
