Don’t agree but time will tell.
Carter was “winning” until he lost in a landslide...
I don’t see how a “race war” helps Obama. Any riots that occur will be in the major cities where the liberals live and they won’t like it much and won’t be able to claim that another 4 years of Obama will some how cool things down when it all is happening on his watch to begin with.
Most liberals are unarmed and won’t like living in fear in their own homes.
So says The Great Lazamataz.
There may be a few(sic) left that think Obama has good intentions..
Probably only democrats and Romney voters..
Romney voters just think Obama is overdoing the socialism A BIT..
Santo voters are just pissed off about abortion.. but love the Unions..
Newt voters know the boy is a whore as well.. but if you screw him and not pay... HE WILL CUT YOU..
I got my money on the “b!tch” from Georgia..
He might not “win” but he talks dirty...
Ya’ll need to be on my ping list. Ask if you want.
I disagree as to any ‘guarantee,’ and I disagree with most of your points.
1. War With Iran: I simply can’t believe that this Pres. is going to war over anything. He doesn’t have the backbone.
2. High Gas Prices as a Positive: No, I think it is a huge negative. People vote their pocketbooks. This is an established and sometimes unfortunate fact.
3. Race Wars: No question he will continue to prime that pump. We as a people have a part to play, though, too. Are we going to get into it, as blacks or whites? Or are we going to name it when we see it and refuse to participate? There is hope here.
4. Lies about the Economy: No question he will continue to lie, however, people are having their own experiences. In my close family there are a Dem and a Green who have been out of work for a LONG time, and simply can’t find work. No amount of lies about the economy will convince them that things are going well.
5. Occupy Wall Street: Will continue with MSM support, however, they have totally jumped the shark. Even in the SF Chronicle, when they have a story about Occupy doing this or that, 95% of the comments are ANTI.
So I don’t see things nearly as bleakly as you do.
You forgot to mention a very key element.
48% pay no taxes
42% are on some form of Gov’t program.
These folks have a vested interest in the Status Quo - you can expect a VERY large percentage of them to vote, at least once.
Meanwhile, even here on FR - there are a substancial amount of people who are TOO FREAKIN’ LAZY to do their civic duty, and either refuse to vote for Romney (for either his religion, or his various stances), or will do a write in candidate to make some moral point. A vote for a write-in candidate, or a failure to even vote - is a vote for Obama.
The only real problem is the Republican voters picked the worst possible candidate to run against him.
That whole list of stuff is more likely to blow up in his face than redound to his benefit.
100% agree, Laz. And yes, we should go down fighting. And no, I will not vote Romney. After 7 presidential elections, I will finally be voting my conscience, not the party line.
I disagree and think all of those reasons listed above, are ALL the reasons he WON’T win.
We outnumber the Progressives 2 to 1. And more of us are waking up every day, especially with all this crap they are pulling and showing their true colors (no pun intended).
We also have God on our side. They don’t.
Proverbs 21:30 There is no wisdom, nor understanding nor counsel against the Lord. True, many take counsel against the Lord, and defy His purposes, (Ps. 2:1-3), but there is no wisdom, understanding nor counsel against the Lord that shall stand, (Isa. 8:9-10; Ps. 103:15; 115:5; Acts 4:27-28; 5:39; Eph. 1:11). To set ones will against the Lord guarantees failure, frustration and final shame.
You’re a very smart man, Laz.
The SC will uphold obamacare. obama already knows the vote. His little speech was so he can claim to have “forced” the SC to rule in his favor. This also takes obamacare off the table. The SC has the final say.
I can’t see war with Iran as helping Obama in any way. He further alienates his left allies and Americans in general are war weary.
I am breaking my self imposed ignore politics policy for this one thread. I opted out when both Romney AND Santorum opined on women joining Augusta National. That little pile filled the bucket of my contempt to running over. A pox on them all.
I will vote against Obama in November. That is all.
My scenario is Obama wins the popular and loses the electoral like 2000. Then unlike 2000 the SHTF and Martial law is declared. Obama will still be Prez in 2013. Civil War II.
Romney can never win and his candidacy effective end the GOP as a viable political party.
” ... knowing we did all we could to stop it.”
