heh... rural Texas isn’t a real good choice either.
Not even at night; we’re used to shooting feral hogs and a lot of us have night vision.
Rural destinations could be a big mistake. Rural folks are usually ready for varmints of just about any stripe.
Its sad that this poor kid was abandoned by his parents to pursue his dream of being a gangsta. They probably thought it was cute and empowering, which is probably why I teach my kids to do their homework, and trigger control.
...but there are nice black families living there as well..... how does that play out?
They are uncle Toms to these folks. For most of them, race is not really the issue. Rather, inequality, for which they refuse to take responsibility, is the issue.

Don’t forget the term “turncoat.” This is how I heard Herman Cain described by a black moron female at my work place.
Basically, it’s anyone whose black and successful (i.e, rejected Plantation living).
Those "coffee house revoutionaries" aren't going to take the cannon-fodder out to the 'burbs because even cannon fodder will stop to question the wisdom of that move, whereas burning down their own neighborhoods comes naturally. Crowds can melt away if things get dicey.
Meh....I'll me using my Ruger 10/22 with a John Norrell trigger pack and Gem-tech suppressor. They'll never know what hit them. I'll be like SGT York turkey hunting ;)
That is still one of my favorite movies.
Bears repeating. I'm sure as heck interested.
If riots break out, if you are caught in a city, you are done.
There will be a mad rush to exit the cities, and highways will be clogged. This makes it easier for the perpetually aggrieved to “Reginald Denny” people en masse.
The emergency services will fold, quickly, especially after the first fire fighter is shot. The fire services will not respond and there won’t be enough cops to escort them AND keep merchants from being looted.
Enough cops get killed, and they too will walk off. Just like in Katrina, but nationwide. Every home that can be kicked in by the gangsta’s will be kicked in, and woe be to you if you ain’t down for da struggle.
Here is something else to consider. Many cities also have National Guard armories in them. The most organized and clear thinking will seize those, and even the most REMF outfit has automatic weapons.
There WILL be those who can organize those warring gangstas into a fighting force once they have a common enemy.
They also WILL come into the suburbs once the food in the city has run out. It will start as scouting forays and then mass movement. How far they move is dependent on the organization and strength of any resistance.
Great post.
They won't hit "Joe and Jane American in their quiet suburban neighborhood" because:
1) there's no real loot, and
2) they have a larger probability of getting shot.
What they will do instead is show up at suburban shopping centers in large numbers, stage mass lootings, and disperse.
This will still cause a large impact on Joe and Jane as prices on everything in the stores goes up in order to cover losses and for the needed increased security.
Agreed; that is highly plausible.
I think you are probably right about that. And perhaps that little issue will be what ultimately would save this from becoming an all-out mini-war of whites against blacks which would be so sad to see happen.
Another unintended consequence of a riot against the suburbs..... most of the blacks in our upscale Atlanta burbs (nice people though they are) are never-the-less avid Democrats, big money supporters to the Dem party, and I am betting they wouldn't take too well to be called Uncle Toms. The whole thing might just open their eyes a bit to just who their real friends are.
