“Homophobia” is a fake term, so any article beginning with this false premise is not worth 2 seconds to read it.
“Homophobia” is a catch phrase mixing Latin and Greek that means “fear of man”.
Well... it may be all Greek or Franken-word. Greek “homos” means `the same’, as in homosexuality. “Phobia” of course means `fear’, implying irrational fear. But “homo” is just a slang term for queers. But if one applies literal cognates and not just slang, then “homophobia” literally means, “fear of those who have exactly the same qualities as oneself”.
So I guess I’m not a “homophobe”, that is, I’m not afraid of others who are heterosexual conservative God-fearing gun owners.
Maybe I can tell you what I think once I stop laughing so hard!
My observation is that most people called, "homophobes" by homosexuals truthfully are repelled by queers and their lifestyle -- but do not "fear" them at all.

The term ‘homophobia’ manifests the perverse thinking of homosexuals.
When used as a childish taunt, they fully recognize a large percentage of the audience so labeled will never acquiesce to homosexuality or condone their behavior or thinking. To that group of normal people, the homosexual in open rebellion simply seeks to throw a verbal insult with impunity. They could care less if it is true or not,..just something they can claim to win or make a draw from a verbal altercation. (The same way an effeminate homosexual attempts to win an argument.)
Another audience receiving the label by homosexuals, as ‘homophobes’, are those who are sincerely conscientiously seeking a resolution of conflict between the perverted homosexual lifestyle and normalcy, but rather than becoming adversarial or dogmatic against homosexuality, are likely to become lukewarm in their acceptance of such criminal behavior. To the homosexual, such an audience becomes less of a threat to their homosexual lifestyle by attacking them first, and overcoming any willpower to oppose the homosexual agenda. It’s basically an offensive tactic to cause their adversary to become defensive. Once defensive, the homosexual then attempts to claim equality with heterosexual behavior with an additional arrogant appearance of insolence. It lessens opposition to their political agenda, and possibly may even open doors to attract sexual victims to their agendas.
Another group the their audience to be so labeled, are indeed week willed people who really don’t know what homosexuality means, implies, or why it has historically been criminal through human history. That weak willed group is also likely to become future fodder for the homosexual recruitment campaign. When the mantra of ‘homophobia’ is repeated enough, even those who fall victim of homosexual advances, later fear repercussions from either heterosexuals or homosexuals, and their personal testimony of the inherent degenerate nature of homosexuality is less likely to be brought into public light, avoiding public scrutiny.
In a nutshell, only sexually immoral people condone the term ‘homophobia’, which promotes more ignorance of degenerate criminal sexual immorality. An academic institution favoring the term simply manifests its promotion of ignorance and lack of subjectivity in reporting actual phenomenon.

One would have to first buy into the premise that homophobia even exists. This 'study' accepts the fallacy hook line and sinker and then goes on to 'prove' a generalization, one of the reasons; it does this 'proving' by subjectively questioning and testing a sample of 160 students and from this population determining subjectively which students are secretly latent homosexuals.
This 'study' and its results are pure liberal humanistic psycho babble garbage.

My central thesis stays the same: if someone sees their same sex as sexually stimulating (or animals or dead things or little kids) their brain is broken.
I don't mean harm to anybody but there should be a recognition that this is a serious mental condition and treatment should be sought.

Somebody once said that while homosexuality & sexual deviancy can’t be eliminated, they should at least be relegated back to the gutter where they belong. Mainstreaming of these evil tendencies is ruinous to a society, as if there isn’t plenty of historical evidence.
I retired from the Army a year ago so I didn’t have to hear the latest mandatory classes aka brainwashing about the end of DADT.

Not sure how this would be a bad thing. Some of the most anti-drug people were former drug addicts. Aren’t the sodomites themselves, the ones most familiar with the tremendous damage and deadly aspects of the lifestyle choice? Then it would be logical that some who are the strongest against homosexual behavior would be ones familiar with it ( just like ex-smokers).
