Sarah Palin: Anyone but Obama in the White House (Tue, Apr 3, 2012)
Associated Press ^ | April 3, 2012 | FRAZIER MOORE

Posted on 04/03/2012 9:53:24 AM PDT by Free ThinkerNY

NEW YORK (AP) — Sarah Palin doesn't sound too gung-ho about Mitt Romney as the GOP presidential candidate, but she insists that anyone is better than Barack Obama in the White House.

Anybody "would be infinitely better than what we have today," Palin said Tuesday on the "Today" show.

If you can’t have 4 more years of Obama, then why support Romney, the designated loser??

I will never vote for the douche

Once again the US is faced with an election based on the lesser of two evils. Or, as Lewis Black states it, which bucket of **** will be less revolting 4 years from now.

When the level of quality that Republicans rally behind is Any Liberal Republican, that’s what Republicans will get every time.

Especially if conservative republicans choose not to get in the race.

Bears repeating. Funny that the "Communist Party" isn't backing Romney over B.O., isn't it? bttt

If you look at the combined SCOTUS appointment by Reagan, GHW Bush, and GW Bush:

Reagan: 1-0-2 (0.667)

Scalia +1 (win)
Kennedy 0 (tie)
O’Conner 0 (tie)

George HW Bush 1-1-0 (0.500)

Thomas +1
Souter -1

George W Bush 2-0-0 (1.00)

Roberts +1
Alito +1

Total: 4-1-2 (0.710)

Even with 3 Moderate to Conservative presidents, 0.71% of the time you are going to get a conservative Justice

Clinton 0-2-0
0buma 0-2-0

Total: 0-4-0 (0.000)

Which odds do you take?

I’m going to hold Sarah Palin partially responsible that we do not get a distinct choice in presidential contestants this year.

Hey, why not. I mean I'm going to hold you personally responsible if Obozo is re-elected. I guess it's only fair.

From your home page:

I own me.
I am my own ruler.
My life is my own and mine alone.
My income and material things belong to me.
My things are my own and mine alone.
My time is my own and mine alone.
I do not owe my time or labor to anyone.
No one else is entitled to one second of my time.

Could not disagree with your selfish beliefs or posts more.

I am one of God's children.
Jesus is my ruler.
My life is owed to God alone.
My talents and income and material things belong to God.
My things are God's alone.
My time on this Earth is God's alone.
I owe my time and labor (and praise and prayers) to God.
God can take it all back at any time, so I better use it wisely.

As to the election, much as I still prefer another candidate, Romney has secured by far a significant percentage of the votes so there obviously is some enthusiasm for him. Denying this is (selfishly) putting blinders on.

Your set only applies to saved, believing Christians.
Due to what He did for us, we belong to Him and owe him everything.

Others may live by the former set of statements,
but we may not.

However, we shouldn’t expect the same requirements of the unsaved that we are required to live by. They just aren’t going to live that way.

In the short run. A one-term Obama might be the best thing that happened to this country. A two-term 0 on the other hand . . .

that we are required to live by.

I am free and NOT required or obligated, there is no bondage in God but WANT to live God's WAY.

They just aren’t going to live that way.

They live in fear, their master is satan, who instills fear.

God's own listen to HIM, 'Fear not'.

Since there are two masters - everyone belongs to either God or satan. So I don't expect anything from anyone - they live according to whom they serve, 'fear' or 'fear not'.

It’s the quote from her CPAC speech.

It isn’t my responsibility to provide every Palin quote. I consider my time more valuable than that.

You can provide Palin quotes if you want to. You could start by going to her Facebook page. I’m sure others would appreciate your efforts if you do so. It could be a positive outlet for your energy.

Actually it wasn’t my intent to make this a religous thread. I am just sick of the comments from certain “my way or the highway” Freepers about ABO being worse than Obama, and preferring to sit out and see a second term than to support what ever candidate wins the primary. After looking at this particular Freepers homepage and seeing his guiding principles, it became obvious to me the self centered illiberalism that would motivate that attitude.

We can never repay HIM, it’s not even a thought. But I will obey His Ways and hate what HE hates and not out of obligation but love.

But when one is in awe of HIM/His Goodness, “we (all) who fear the LORD will hate evil. Therefore, I hate pride and arrogance, corruption and perverse speech.” Prov 8:13

“Let those who love the LORD hate evil, for He guards the lives of His faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked”. Psalm 97:10

“Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil”. Proverbs 3:7

“Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.” Romans 12:9
