Boehner: Despite deep differences, Obama and I 'get along just fine'

House Speaker John Boehner said Tuesday that despite a toxic political climate in Washington and his deep ideological differences with President Barack Obama, the two "have a good personal relationship," even as he criticized the president's health-care plan and stewardship of the economy.

The Ohio Republican also opened up about the GOP presidential field during an interview with TODAY’s Matt Lauer. “I’ve got a big job to do here in the Capitol,” he acknowledged. “Voters around the country who choose to vote in Republican primaries will pick one of these candidates. And whoever that candidate is, I will support.”

The sole purpose of the Republican Party is to serve as an ineffective alternative to the Democrat Party.

Agreed.

Then he should be prosecuted for complicity with a traitor.

Sole purpose? No, they also like pretending they have "power" and they do get a lot of monetary rewards in the process.

But the solution is not to try a third party, but to TAKE OVER AND CLEAN HOUSE. We need a dedicated calvary to doing that and restoring the purpose that was instituted during Reagan's first term. But then deleted by GHWBush when he was given the office. Reagan, who we all truly love, was too trusting.

Think so? Just tell him “NO” once and see what happens.

Boehner is pu$$y-whipped by the MSM. He's afraid of negative press in the NYT and WaPo.

Boehner is nothing but a friggin' coward with his tail between his legs.

Listen up Boehner and listen good: We don't want to get along with the foreigner, usurper marxist!

Grow some balls or get out of the way!

Actually he did. He uttered some idiotic comment that we should not criticize His Excellency when he is out of the country (making political deals with the Ruskies for instance).

I pray we not only get rid of the turd but this guy gets flushed too.

"Reagan, who we all truly love, was too trusting."

Too trusting? They almost killed him just 'getting his attention'. Once he understood how the game was really played, he became much more cooperative.

I laughed the minute I read the Headline.

Of course Obama and Boehner get along fine——as long as Boehners lips are clamped to his butt.

Boehner is a useless as toilet paper to and Arab.
As useless as a thong to an Islamic woman.

Boehner is just putting in his time as Speaker, my dog could do a better job.

“Boehner: Despite deep differences, Obama and I ‘get along just fine’”

And that’s EXACTLY the problem with you, John....

With guys like you leading our side, who needs enemies?

We don’t want people erpresenting us who look for ways to get along with Obama - and then brag about it.

We want representatives who are dedicated to throwing his skinny, whining, socialist butt on the trash heap of history.

..call the Speaker's office and they tell you the very same thing.

"We have to work with Obama and the democrats" The political correctness train is what they like in Washington. A rebellion; a rebuke, to kick out the wimpy republicans is our only solution in winning back our power (so we can set in reforms).

Before he was yanked off of Fox Business Network for being a Paulbot Judge Andrew Napolitano would sum things up this way:

There is one political party in America - the Big Government Party. It has two wings - the democrat wing and the republican wing.

Boner is living proof of this.
