We all know that Rush Limbaugh is considered the Spokesperson for the Conservative movement. And we know now, that it was a mistake to use the choice of words he used re: Ms. Fluke being the "s" word. But, enough is enough. The DemocRATS are making political hay off of this big-time. Obozo's approval rating among women now is like 57 percent. So, what can we do to stop this steam roller and take the steam out of the Dems steam roller. Well.....
Look, Rush is very wealthy. He could afford to have someone look into Ms. Fluke's life from the cradle to present day. Find everything they can to prove that the word he called her is correct and discredit her. Hey, I guarantee you that the Dems would do this if the shoe was on the other foot.

No, you need to listen to Rush every day. He is handling the problem. He will have three new sponsors starting shortly. Several of the ones who left are asking to come back and Rush said he is thinking about it. Carbonite’s stock price is tanking. What more do you want?

#1 Rush is a great guy and a great entertainer in the field of conservative humor and commentary. He is not IMO a leader in conservative politics, if he was he would rn for office; but who would want the headaches and pay cut like that?
#2 I think Fluke may be dumb enough to sue. Pray she does, because then Rush can put her under oath in a deposition to ask many political connection related questions that would be dragged into the public and that would embarrass her, the President and her party. :-)
The fact that the Left has coerced that "admission" from so many conservatives is telling. Why was it a mistake? The word is completely accurate. It was crude, to be sure. But no cruder than sitting before the United States Congress and talking about rampant promiscuity, then demanding that the taxpayers not only endorse it but PAY for its consequences!
We must NOT concede ANY of the ground on this issue. Limbaugh was not wrong. He did not make a "mistake" in calling a slut a slut.
Do you even listen to Limbaugh? He is handling this brilliantly. And as far as making hay out of it, 28 sponsors left out of 18,000 and most of the 28 are begging to come back.
The left is being exposed by other media on the double standard, Limbaugh doesn’t need to except how he does everyday on his show.
Just ask anyone and everyone that mentions Fluke and contraception, “Which is worse refusing to pay for birth control and morning after pills, or refusing to pay for mammograms and Avastin?” “Does Ms. Fluke have her priorities screwed up, or is she just too self-centered to care about the health and welfare of anyone but herself?”

I too would like to think of something to turn this ‘war on women’ thing around. As a woman, I am ashamed of all the liberals and feminists and their shallow, petty, and transparent hypocrisy. It is to the point of idiocy. What stresses me more is the thought that 57% of women approve of Obama? Really? I have friends on Facebook who have recently posted articles despising Limbaugh and I think, “do I need to unfriend them?” No... they are allowed their opinions. I just don’t agree to argue with them in that venue. I think approaching the mainstream media may be a more powerful influence. They are all about the money.... how can we protest and cause some of THEIR advertisers to renege on them? If it worked for Carbonite, why not protest advertising on ABC, CBS, PMSNBC, yada yada? I cancelled my HBO the other day.... they act like they don’t even care.
Fluke isn’t going to sue Limbaugh. Truth is always a defense against libel and slander.

Digging up dirt on Fluke would be a mistake. Just let it go. Rush probably shouldn’t have called her a “slut”. He admitted as much. It’s done.
Rush will be fine, the media firestorm is spent. It could only spin till the hypocrisy on the left became too much for the media to avoid talking about. So now they will largely just drop the issue and we all move on.
We need to be talking about economic issues, gas prices, debt, etc. Every moment we are talking about ridiculous issues like this one, or whether contraception is “not okay”, or whether women should stay home and have more babies, etc, is a losing moment for us. This is the kind of stuff Obama WANTS to talk about. Hussein has a terrible economic record, and here we are allowing ourselves into being distracted in to talking about all these silly issues that will only hurt us come election day.

How about proclaiming Obama’s “war on Mothers”. I am more than a little sick of being told what I NEED to do for my children to be a good mother. I don’t want to be told what to pack for lunch, or better still that it will be taken away and replaced by pink slime or something else my child would never eat. I don’t want my children to be told about sex and morality by the government...that is MY job. I don’t want them handing out condoms and contraception without my knowlege. I don’t want Al Gore telling kids their parents are stupid and don’t understand things. I don’t want to send my children to schools whose mission is to indoctrinate. It seems that what I WANT doesn’t seem to matter one bit. This is a war on mothers and should be branded as such. We are women too.

No, I can’t listen to Rush every day. I am still in the work force, and I can’t listen to the radio at work. I’m one of the 51% who is still working and paying taxes. I do, however, catch Sean Hannity on my car radio on the way home every day.
Get 24/7 and listen to him when you can, that’s what I do as well as millions more.

Women need to begin thanking feminists from Gloria Steinheim to Sandra Fluke for stereotyping the entire gender as sex maniacs and slaves. What the feminists perceived as to how they were viewed is exactly what they have stereotyped women into being. Women had control over their own body from the beginning, now they are viewed as sex machines with a pill or some other product as ‘protection’. With Ms.Fluke, women are now viewed as machines that cannot control their own bodies, and so must have you and I pay for this ‘protection’. Women must begin to laugh at and ridicule these helpless souls.

It would be great if it was uncovered that Sandra Fluke had sex with minors and she went to prison. I know I’m vindictive, but, he who does not like revenge has not tasted it.
All I can do to fight back is use my money and my mouth. I have let sponsors who dropped Rush know they’ve lost my dollar in this tough economy. Apparently enough of us are doing the same. i.e. Carbonite. As for my mouth, you pick and choose your battles. I’ve done so and have had to block the lefties on Facebook due to the insults, name calling and unbelievable hate.
I’ll continue and hope to find grassroots build up of other conservatives like me who have had enough and are willing to band together and defeat these hate mongers.

100% correct. This is an unforced error by Rush, and the only thing that can be done is to follow the "hole" principle: When you're in a hole, first stop digging. I think the progs are in the process of overplaying their hand, so we need to just get out of the way.

Fight back? I think we already have. Fluke has been outed as a radical leftist and not just some concerned college student she claimed to be. The Democrats want to keep this in the news so no one is talking about the unemployed, gas prices, the whole middle east mess, green payoffs, Obamacare cost overruns, they prefer to keep on message of “the Republican war on Women”. The Dems are in trouble and they know it. To fight back we need to keep on message. Obama is bad for the country and that means everyone, not just women and minorities.
The second reason he apologized is she might - might - not be a public person. I don't believe that - but it could be argued in a court of law - and we know how liberal judges and the Democrat-Media Complex work hand in glove...
If she had been a private citizen subpoenaed to testify - she would basically still be a private person - or semi-private but that wasn't the case. She was picked to speak as part of a PR stunt. This was NOT a true hearing. As such 'she held herself out to the public' to be judged or not - and that makes her a public person. Rush would NOT go after a private person - and either would bloggers. If she's a private citizen - we all need to apologize if we crossed the line.
To me, she went public voluntarily - held herself out for review - and was reviewed. If that's not the case, we need to be very careful - because she'll sue Rush and all of us while she's at it. And she'll have cranks come on our sites and set us up to say things that will be used against us.
These are NOT nice people - they're after money, power, and the joy of destroying the free speech of everyday citizens.
