Sandra Fluke’s Appearance Is No Fluke

Posted by on Mar 02, 2012 at 10:49 am

For me the interesting part of the story is the ever-evolving “coed”. I put that in quotes because in the beginning she was described as a Georgetown law student. It was then revealed that prior to attending Georgetown she was an active women’s right advocate. In one of her first interviews she is quoted as talking about how she reviewed Georgetown’s insurance policy prior to committing to attend, and seeing that it didn’t cover contraceptive services, she decided to attend with the express purpose of battling this policy. During this time, she was described as a 23-year-old coed. Magically, at the same time Congress is debating the forced coverage of contraception, she appears and is even brought to Capitol Hill to testify. This morning, in an interview with Matt Lauer on the Today show, it was revealed that she is 30 years old, NOT the 23 that had been reported all along.

In other words, folks, you are being played. She has been an activist all along and the Dems were just waiting for the appropriate time to play her.

While she is described as a “third year law student” they always fail to mention that she is also the past president of Law Students for Reproductive Justice.

July 30 2011

Does your campus’s LSRJ chapter face opposition in regard to facilitating a comprehensive conversation about reproductive justice? Well mine definitely does! While my campus has a mix of people with different backgrounds, and a rich liberal arts community, the Midwest doesn’t exactly scream bleeding liberal. Some LSRJ chapters at conservative campuses face opposition in the form of other, more conservative, student run organizations; some face it from their administrations, and others from their peers, or the community in general. Whatever the opposition is, it can be incredibly frustrating and disheartening.

The question is, how do we combat this conservative opposition and oppression, in order to facilitate a discussion and educate others about the RJ movement? I am obviously not alone in facing these problems, as Sandra Fluke of Georgetown lead a packed room in a discussion on this question at the first Issue Caucus that I attended at the Leadership Institute, LSRJ’s national conference at Berkeley.

While no solution was definitively reached, and I personally don’t begin to have the “right” answer, I was really charged by the discussion and feel many great ideas were presented. Some campus chapters decided to take an adversarial approach, feeling it important to use those “scary” words the opposition fears.

Further background research on Ms Fluke reveals that she got her start in government in New York in 2009.

Sandra Fluke’s professional background in domestic violence and human trafficking began with Sanctuary for Families in New York City. There, she launched the agency’s pilot Program Evaluation Initiative. While at Sanctuary, she co-founded the New York Statewide Coalition for Fair Access to Family Court, which after a twenty-year stalemate, successfully advocated for legislation granting access to civil orders of protection for unmarried victims of domestic violence, including LGBTQ victims and teens. Sandra was also a member of the Manhattan Borough President’s Taskforce on Domestic Violence and numerous other New York City and New York State coalitions that successfully advocated for policy improvements impacting victims of domestic violence.

As the 2010 recipient of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles Fran Kandel Public Interest Grant, she researched, wrote, and produced an instructional film on how to apply for a domestic violence restraining order in pro per. She has also interned with the Coalition to Abolish Slavery & Trafficking; Polaris Project; Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County; Break the Cycle; the Domestic Violence Legal Empowerment and Appeals Project; NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund; Crime Victim and Sexual Assault Services; and the Human Services Coalition of Tompkins County.

Through Georgetown’s clinic programs, Sandra has proposed legislation based on fact-finding in Kenya regarding child trafficking for domestic work, and has represented victims of domestic violence in protection order cases. Sandra is the Development Editor of the Journal of Gender and the Law, and served as the President of Law Students for Reproductive Justice, and the Vice President of the Women’s Legal Alliance. In her first year, she also co-founded a campus committee addressing human trafficking. Cornell University awarded her a B. S. in Policy Analysis & Management, as well as Feminist, Gender, & Sexuality Studies in 2003.

My only question is, how does someone go from being a champion of domestic violence issues to an expert of women’s reproductive health issues?

The fact that this woman got a personnal phone call from the leader of
the free (sort of) world SPEAKS VOLUMES of who she really is!!!
Everyday I am exhausted by what we are up against. Progressives are
such unbelievable lying, loud, cheating, corrupt, EVIL, individuals. I
just DO NOT understand why they just don’t MOVE to a communist
country if this is the way they wish to live. There are plenty of communist
socialist countries to relocate to. WHY DESTROY THIS COUNTRY?

If Fluke is a lesbian, why would she need birth control pills?

And why isnt the GAY lobby up in arms that they will have to pay for breeder contraception. Government control of contraception is a nicey nice way of depopulating the lower class ethnic population with free government funded contracetption and what ever falls thru the cracks planned parenthood will finish the job. Hey Al sharpy still on board wiff dis?

If Fluke is a lesbian, why would she need birth control pills?

Because the only way to get pregnant and contract STD's is from toilet seats in public restrooms.

Especially if you are sharing one with a male.

"“You recall back in the debate we had,” Mr. Romney said to the moderator, John King, “George Stephanopoulos talking a lot about birth control. We wondered why in the world contraception – why is he going there? Well, we found out when Barack Obama continued his attack on religious conscience.”

Political Diversion by any other name is still a Diversion....Planned Dirty Politics! See the Axelrod thumbprint anywhere? Jarrett, Ms.Obama?....All GOP hopefuls should they be asked about Ms. Sl...'er Fluke, should refuse to waste valuable time with such garbage...let the Obama's worry about who will pay for 'their daughter's mistakes'.......

Pat Dollard (my buddy and close friend to Andrew Breitbart) put the pieces of the puzzle together and when you unveil the curtains, you find a hardcore Liberal activist engaged in the fight to shove ObamaCare mandates down our throats.

What if next Obama says all religious health care providers have to offer abortion services? This a slippery slope we are on folks.

I doubt that Rush will pay too dearly. As this exposure of the fabrication spreads the democrat party and the media will quickly begin to bury it. Besides, the shelf life of these things are short and most brain dead voters won’t remember this in six months.

Boehner too has come down on Rush and he has been sent an email from me that he is no better than Obama, attacking an American citizen by name.

In addition, I suggested that he most likely did NOT actually hear Rush’s comments, and if not, he really has no business commenting.

Then I told him the truth about the lying sex-deprived lesbian feminazi activist organizer including her real age, and if I thought Boehner would actually read my email, it would make my day. And the fact that he is aiding Obama in reframing the discussion into something it never was.

Sadly, I am sure he won’t read my email, and he will continue to attack conservatives at every opportunity, carrying Obama’s water for him, and hopefully NOT being re-elected (told him that, as well).

Rush survived the Clinton years, I think he is well equipped to handle and expose lying libs.

Unlike a lot of our elected officials who are supposed to be conservative voices and apparently have forgotten why they were elected.

I imagine that Rush already had all of this info about her beforehand. Now everybody is talking about this and that is the whole point. Fluker is being exposed for the fraud that she is.

Rush is doing what he does best — using their own words against them. Recall about a year or so ago when leftist women were holding “slut walks” for “reproductive rights”. Once again, they started it, and now they’ve walked right into it. Rush knew what he was doing when he used that particular term.

This is so typical. The church better just sit down and shut up in the good ole USA, but the intolerant life hating, church hating left feels they have the right to go after the church and push their liberal agenda. Satanists do the same thing. Therefore, I have to believer Satanists and Liberals are working for the same cause.

Limbaugh used this issue to provide cover over not discussing Arpaio’s report.

Godebert said the above on another thread. It is true. I said the following:

THAT'S IT! Freaking cowards, every "conservative" talkperson who didn't cover Arpaio's report. ENABLERS. Vichy and Quisling come to mind.

“If Fluke is a lesbian, why would she need birth control pills?

If Fluke was heterosexual or spent much time with straight women, why wouldn’t she know damn well that birth control pills were available for $9/month at the discount pharmacy?”
**********************************************************
Yes, $9.00 for a 30 day supply. Or, even cheaper, $24 for a 90 day supply (which works out to $96 per year). That was Rush’s whole point. The difference between that $96 per year cost and the $1,000 (or $3,000 - I’ve read conflicting reports) that Fluke said she needs for her reproductive health would then what she would need for condoms. And that residual $904 (or $2,904) of Fluke’s “yearly reproductive needs” would buy a VAST NUMBER OF CONDOMS to satisfy her “need”. Rush was making fun of the VERY foolish MISS FLUKE and the various other Obama flunkies and apologists. He was also pointing out that, once you think it through, she was really asking for we tax payers to subsidize her “stated” sexual activity. Not that I believe for one moment, given her not particularly alluring appearance, she’d have any success finding the needed quantity of Washington DC males to fulfill that annual activity (this is assuming Bill Clinton does not move back to DC and start hanging out around Georgetown Law School again).

“You tax dollars already subsidize birth control pills at any Planned Parenthood or county health department. That isn’t good enough for this intolerant woman”

Probably because Planned Parenthood and health clinics are usually in poor neighborhoods. You don’t expect the liberal elites to actually be in close contact with the people in those neighborhoods do you? They only use the poor for votes to grab power and money, they don’t actually want to see them in the same waiting room. Go to Wal-mart for cheap pills??!! Have you seen the people that shop at Wal-Mart?? They like to get their freebies while acting superior to the rest of us.
