Boehner calls Limbaugh remarks "inappropriate"

House Speaker John Boehner distanced himself on Friday from Rush Limbaugh, calling the conservative radio host's words toward a women's rights advocate "inappropriate."

Amid a growing media firestorm over comments Wednesday by Limbaugh toward Sandra Fluke, a Georgetown Law student who testified before a Democratic panel on the use of contraception, Washington's top Republicans said through a spokesman that Limbaugh was wrong.

"The speaker obviously believes the use of those words was inappropriate, as is trying to raise money off the situation," Boehner spokesman Michael Steel said in a statement.

Inappropriate for what or for whom?

A radio talk show about opinions? To people freely choosing to listen to the radio show and poke fun and ridicule obviously lying liberal tools??

Was that woman’s testimony about Georgetown students, many of them minors or under age 26 and thus eligible on parent health plans, paying tuition $50K plus per year, not being to afford birth control “appropriate”?

Does the Speaker in Congress now see himself as the judge of certain opinions and free speech as inappropriate in America?

Did Boehner ever condemn MEdia talking heads wishing for the death or assassination of Bush and Cheney and Palin or the Pope as “inappropriate”?

Boehner has a Primary Challenger named David Lewis. Perhaps it is time to send Lewis some cash prior to Tuesday? Would be nice to get Boehner out of there and get Rep. Gohmert nominated as Speaker.

She & her friends sound like bitches in heat shoving their tails into any man’s face

A mannish-looking young lady claims in front of the nation that she has a constant need for contraceptive devices—so much so that she can't afford the cost? What that tells me is that she wishes us to think she is popular.

While Republicans should certainly not get advice on how to win elections from Rush, I can't understand why it is the House Speaker's job to comment on a talk radio host's monologue. Rush's job is to be outrageous and funny and he is. It is not Boner's job to manage Rush's show content.

Just because the House and MSNBC libs keep saying he must?

Has Boehner ever thought of being critical of Obama? just askin...

he seems to have a knack for undermining his own argument with some unfortunate term or use of language.

Oh contraire, Rush is a master of the language, he knows EXACTLY what he is saying and the effect it will have on the discourse.

Time to ramp it up a little. Alinsky would ramp it up, and double down.

“The Little White Clown That Cried” opens up his piehole for something other than lunch with Obama, and this is the best he can do? He can’t even rise to the level of “pathetic” anymore.

Last night I got into a heated debate with a old high school friend about this. My friend is a lawyer who has a job paid for by govt grants. He was highly offended by Rush’s comment said it was advocating sexual violence against women.

He couldn’t explain NOWs support for Slutwalk.
Nor did he care to address Bill Maher’s attacks on Christianity.
Nor the purpose behind this womans activism, which is to attack religious freedom.

On Georgetowns website they advise students their law degree will cost $150,000. So she can afford that but not $100 for the pill?

We no longer have the luxury of ignoring such attacks and no one will stop the social issues from being front and center. The dims will keep them there. Rush has proved that every election where social issues were an issue... Conservatives have won. I will not turn my back on what is right because some are nervous about it. Nervous is a vacuum coming up a birth canal with a tool to rip the brain from an infant... before that infant has a chance at his/her RIGHT TO LIFE.

[Everyone except Hagen leaves]
Tom Hagen: Mike, why am I out?
Michael: You’re not a wartime Consigliari, Tom. Things could get rough with the move we’re making.
Don Corleone: Tom, I advised Michael. I never thought you were a bad Consigliari. I thought Santino was a bad Don, rest in peace. Michael has all my confidence as do you. But there are reasons why you must have nothing to do with what’s going to happen.
Tom Hagen: Maybe I could help.
Michael: You’re out, Tom.

I find Boners lack of leadership “inappropriate”. Which is more dangerous for the country? Rush’s remarks calling out a Left wing trick or Boner being a crying loser as House Speaker.

I certainly agree with you. The thing that drives me crazy is one day Boner will do one thing that is good for conservatives and then he will be called “our Savior” again. Vicious cycle that just drives me crazy. He is either going to be a good representative to conservatives all the time or he is not. He has chosen not too. Once every million years does not deserve any positive BZ.

Most normal people know exactly the contents of what Rush said.

Boehner can cry all he wants but this is just another shot telling the Libtards that we're not going to sit idly by while they get to lie. We'll use personal attacks to point out their lies and hypocrisies.

IMHO Rush is trying to make as big of a stink as possible about this issue right now, hopefully will go away before the general election campaign starts. The liberal media is doing a good job of burning conservatives on this topic.

“suggesting she video tape her sexual encounters and post them for our enjoyment. I could only shake my head. “

Yup. I was shocked to hear him say that. Really a dumb thing to say at the end of that segment.

That's the kind of crap that's going to make Pelosi Speaker again. Boehner is all blow and NO go.

Here's probably what happened:

Pelosi called obama saying do something about Rush.

obama called his new best friend McCain (has him on speed dial) saying do something about Rush.

McCain called Boehner saying do something about Rush.

Boehner called a press conference saying do something about Rush.

Rush goes on today and says EFF YOU PEOPLE.

I'm about 97% over the RINO's in both the House and Senate. The ONLY Republicans with ball$ are Issa and a few WOMEN, ie; Michelle Bachmann, Marsha Blackburn and Virginia Fox. I think all the rest wear pink panties and shave their legs. That includes my Rep and two Senators. Probably look close at all their finger-nails and see traces of finger nail polish, from partying the night before.

Where are the Tea Party congressmen? They need to start putting serious pressure on the GOP leadership - reform or get the hell out.
