California most disliked state – especially by GOP
Orange County Register ^ | February 23rd, 2012 | Martin Wisckol

California is the most “unfavorable” state for Americans, with Republicans particularly adamant in their distaste for the Golden State. Democrats have a favorable impression of the state, according to the poll by Public Policy Polling.

California was one of only five states to get an unfavorable overall score, with 27 percent giving it a “favorable” and 44 percent giving it the thumbs down. (The rest of those polled didn’t have an opinion.)

We hate what has been done to “The Golden State” of California. It has been turned into a s**thole.

Even Michael Savage on his show tonight mentioned leaving the state due to high taxes. He probably won't since he likes San Fran Sicko for its beauty.

It is not possible for CA to survive on its current trajectory. Can’t see a thing on the horizon to turn things around.

Too bad. It’s one of the most beautiful states in the union. And it has a history of innovative manufacturing and development. And some (formerly) great universities. But they’ve really managed to screw it up.

It’s not so much that we don’t “like” CA, it’s more that we’re sad to see what’s become of what is perhaps the most naturally gifted state in the Union, and how it’s been destroyed by politicians (and those who elect them).

You know, I’m maybe being pretentious here, but CA always struck me as a place Odysseus would have visited. A nice, warm, gentle place, no real challenge to get by, dreamy weather, lovely views.

Laestrygonian Land. Lotus-Eaters, you know?

Sadly, even Homer didn’t see that sooner or later such a place becomes Babylon, sitting in her luxuries and blasphemies, the envy of the nations until the ships at sea see her go up in smoke.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE

If you have any liberal or democrap friends, please make sure they see this:

“Democrats’ favorite states include Hawaii, Massachusetts, Oregon, Washington,
Vermont, Colorado, and New York, and their least favorites are led by Texas”

Believe me they don't want to come down here. We have active volcano's, the women have green scales, and most of the men have horns. Stay away, stay away, stay away.

(The biggest problem we have is liberals slipping into the state and bringing their BS ideas with them.)

The only thing that will turn California around is bankruptcy. The one-party rulers in Sacramento just don't get it and won't learn any other way.

I thought pretty much the same thing, then I actually looked at what California spent over the past two budgets. The state spending went from 123 billion down to 122 billion. Still deficit spending, least under the state constitution, something that's forbidden, but shockingly, an actual reduction in the state budget.

Paltry and unintentional as it might be (Governor Moonbeam's budget proposal is for 132 billion for this year...) the dysfunctional mono-party in Sacramento actually ran out of someone else’s money to spend for once.

Who knows, maybe that's the answer.. Once the liberals have screwed up something enough, maybe it's time to get out, close the door, and tell them to put the ranging beast back in the garage themselves.

Of course, I'll be waiting on the headline from SFGate trumpeting how Democrats have actually cut the state budget..

SFGate is a fascist concern, and when the censors get done dissecting every last word people write, they (I) am immediately banned. Those journalist are all hacks and communist or communist sympathizers—to hell with even bothering talking to them; they have no interests other than, pushing the party line garbage down the eager throats of the sheeple bloggers.

“It is not possible for CA to survive on its current trajectory. Can’t see a thing on the horizon to turn things around.”

Unfortunately you’re right. The only possible way to save the state would be for a newly-conservative US government in DC to basically nationalize the state and force it to behave (as in ending illegal immigration, anchor babies, etc. and then forcing English ONLY).

Will that happen - not looking good, at all.
