If you study primates the ‘not the father’ will almost always beat or kill their not the spring.
A guy named Desmond Morse (sp) wrote a series of books viewing humans as animals (he was an animal specialist). Very interesting.
The ‘not the father’ in most primate cultures killed or damaged the other man’s offspring.
The bottom line, biological father and mother is the optimum place for offspring.
We are not animals. Yes a committed loving marriage is the best place for children. However, you are smearing all the wonderful adoptive fathers and stepfathers that love their non biological children as their own.
Cherry, I have read back on some of your posts. Whatever your problems with the men in your life you would be well served to stop projecting them on all men.

If you watch these issue it is almost never the biological man who is abusive but the not the biological man in the child’s life.
Not really. Most abuse and killing of young children is done by non biological males that are involved with the mother. They usually resent the attention that women give the young children, since they are not their own offspring. Even natural fathers get jealous of a mother’s attention for her children.
There is a reason that orphanages were always considered (and mostly were) evil. A genetic interest in your own offspring is natural. To feel about children as you would your own offspring is not natural. You’re designed to be attached to your own offspring-—women much more than males because of their hormones in giving birth and their nature. Males need more incentive to care for children—and if they are not moral, they will not care for the kids.
Godly people only care and can possibly love other people’s kids—but never as much as their mother should. The mother needs to be in prison also.

However, in Cherry’s first post she outright slanders all men by saying they shouldn’t be left alone with a child not biologically connected to them. Sorry adoptive fathers, I guess you can’t be trusted.
At this very moment my 7 year old godson is asleep on my couch while his mother attends her grandfathers funeral and his father is serving in Kuwait. He is in the safest place in the world for him besides being with his Mom and Dad. This “non-biological” male is the big dog in this house and he will kill anyone who would do this child harm.
Your broad brush was if not ludicrous was at least maliscious, there are many men out here who understand the need to protect those entrusted to our care. He comes to me alot because dad is not available right now and he needs a males’ guidance for things mommy cannot understand. God forbid someone who would do him harm or any of my God children, my children, or my grandchildren. Death will not come easy for them! Prison does not scare me. All the children are precious!
In Donovans’ case, he had an abusive mother, neglect is child abuse, who chose to lie down with dogs and Donavan paid the price for her neglect and gross stupidity.
Any man who would harm a child is lower than the animals and deserves whatever and as much pain and suffering as can be inflicted.

When I was a (male) teenager I used to babysit the neighbors' younger kids. Somehow I managed to avoid beating them to death, despite what you apparently believe is my defective "nature."

When my son was young(gonna be 40 soon) I always tried to get some of the jr. High teens from church to babysit. They played with him, read, spent time etc. The girls just were on the phone or tried to sneak in their boyfriends.
