In early January 2012 the big news was SOPA; the Stop Online Piracy Act. It gave the government the right to shut down the internet as it saw fit. It took the element of control, responsibility and freedom away from private citizenry and put it in the hands of an elite few who called their shots by opinion rather than the terms of law. Later in January came NDAA “The National Defense Authorization Act” which included indefinite incarnation of Americans at the behest of the Federal Government- without formal charges. Late January saw an effort to bail out mortgage holders using a formula that allowed the government to take funds from the “haves” and give them to the “have nots”, otherwise known as “redistribution”. It is another scam patterned after the failed bail outs. Most recently the contraception issue was framed to force religious people to fund contraception against their will. Can anyone tell me when it became the Federal Government’s job to intervene in any of these issues?
Has anyone noticed a pattern here? In each case, legislation has been crafted to exceed the bounds of the Constitution. This brings about a question; Why do we pay 535 Senators & Congressmen after they have taken an oath to uphold the document? What do they do to earn their substantial paycheck? Right or left wing people, liberal or conservative need to understand; the Constitution is the only thing standing between a government that controls citizens and citizens who are able to control their government. Would the mule invite the mule skinner to come and eat with him?
No one is really sure how many men have been lost in wars involving the USA over the last 236 years, the number exceeds 1 million military service personnel. These people are someone’s father, brother, sister or grandparent; and they left a family who misses them desperately. Be it known that someone put on a uniform and got in the line of fire for one purpose; to lay down their lives for freedom. Stop and think about it. These men and women were willing to fight and die so that their loved ones could remain free from domination and tyranny of any kind. This generation is selling out their efforts without a whimper; they don’t even realize the gift they are gladly handing to the US government in exchange for preferential treatment.
According to “Reporters without Borders” the USA has fallen, in subjective ranking, to #47 in terms of individual freedom; that is to say “the freedom of the individual”. The citizens of the USA now fall somewhere between Argentina and Romania in terms of our level of freedom. Out of 179 nations, America is number 47 when it was America that began the tradition of freedom. This is the legacy we leave the next generation. America was founded as the place where the little guy can climb to the top of the ladder and the government defended his rights to do so. Anyone who is willing to sell this out for an extra government benefit is perverse. Worse yet, when America is governed by leadership that encourages this sell out, we have sunk to all new depths and are headed for last place on the freedom index.
To those who are crafting and voting for this travesty; I hope you enjoy what you get. As a free American, the older generation had a great time here. You won’t.

And they give us Romney to vote for so we should counter this with a vote for who ever they despise.
When this is the best response you can come up with regarding an article that obviously has so much heart and soul put into it, you probably should think twice before responding at all.
Our nation is dieing at it’s core and you are picking at grammar and spelling? You are a “Hell of a guy”. A typical Liberal.
