President Obama plans to announce a plan Friday to accommodate religious organizations and others that are opposed to a new policy requiring contraceptive coverage for employees by making insurance companies the ones responsible for providing free contraception.
The change would make the insurance companies, and not religious employers, responsible. Women would still have access to birth control without co-pays -- but religious schools and hospitals could refuse to cover it, passing the onus to the insurance companies.
The change was described by a senior adviser as an "accommodation" -- but advisers said the announcement does not represent a "compromise."

It is a distinction without a difference, meant to give Catholic Obamabots cover.
I suspect there’s a round of waivers coming as soon as they figure out how to separate the Obama voters from the rest of us.
wouldnt alot of these catholic charities orgs be self insured anyways, making them the defacto *company* ???
Once a community agitator, always a community agitator.
Oh “Come on, guys”
“Obama is doing this just to see how many people are this stupid and will fall for his lies again.”
And religious folks who swoon over the pos, poseur in chief will be all too happy to accomodate the LIAR.
Yep.
Any accomodation lasts until election day.
All of Obama’s promises have expiration dates of course.
> It is a distinction without a difference, meant to give

Exactly.
All DemonRAT politicians MUST BE excommunicated IMMEDIATELY for their support of ABORTION-MURDER and “birth control”, which is a euphemism for preemptive abortion. Most birth control pills are abortifacients anyway.
Any Catholic that votes DemonRAT should be excommunicated.
The Church has NO credibility if it will not excommunicate UNREPENTANT sinners.

It’s a reminder that no “compromise” on this issue will have any significance as long as there is a government mandate requiring insurance companies to cover contraception, abortion, and the rest of the death deals.
It just means that Catholics and all other taxpayers will get stuck with paying for these things, even if they don’t choose to use them.
Not acceptable.
This accomodation is nothing but semantics.
Got that straight. It is devious Clintonesque word parsing at it’s very worst. I am even far angrier now over the fact that he thinks we’re this stupid.
“Got that straight.”
I’m sure that lefty Obama supporters have it very straight.
And I’m sure they will show O’Bummer their appreciation by pouring more money into his campaign coffers.
Fundraising has been slow for the Dems this time around. What better way to shake loose some big bucks from the RICH leftoids than to take a shot at a huge religious institution like the RCC? And when that makes the dumb “Christers” squeal(/s), all Zero has to do is to bob and weave a little with meaningless “accommodations” while behind the scenes still more unconstitutional power grabbing goes on.
Maybe if the Catholics really DO get hot under the collar and leave the Dhimmi Party, march on the WH in outrage over Zer0’s cheap attempt to manipulate them, and otherwise show their anger, Obama will acquiesce before Election Day. But he will stall and stall, lie and lie, and collect and collect from his hard-left idiots.
