I'm officially endorsing Newt Gingrich for president today. Was going to wait until after Florida, but see no reason to delay. We need Newt to win in South Carolina and Florida to stop any possible momentum building up for the establishment big government, statist, abortionist RINO!!

Ron alterPaul does have radical ideas: 9/11 truther, anti-Semitism,racism........just as a start.
If you want to support him fine, however I will never support a truther, anti-Semitic, racist.

A vote for Santorum is a vote for Mitt; Santorum has no delegates, so he would be powerless at the comvention.

I prefer no healthcare bill, as did these patriots here:

Three hundred pages of Obamacare puts us all quite a huge distance from 'no healthcare bill'. Get it?

Has Cheney endorsed anyone yet? I think his daughter may be for Romney, but not sure.

I don’t worry so much about Newt rethinking global warming. I think he is someone who can be persuaded when he is wrong.

I do worry that he sometimes runs off at the mouth before he has really thought things through. Yeah, he can walk it back if necessary, but it is easy ammo for the media. It is the down side of his being a big idea guy. If he gets the nomination, we would have to worry about him being disciplined.

I also think he is the only one left at this point that would go to DC and really shake things up. And I think the DC insiders are afraid of him. But you are right, he is sometimes unpredictable and undisciplined. I’m not sure that makes him erratic in the way some of his colleagues are saying, and with no specific examples.

I’m not sure that disqualifies him and it is countered by his ability to explain conservative positions so clearly. I have seen several news clips lately where Newt is asked a question by a reporter and starts totally nailing the answer, and it is fun to watch the reporter try to cut him off.

Perhaps they should change the name of this place from 'FREERepublic' to 'GroupthinkRepublic'.

Romney doesn’t support government health care - RomneyCare IS government health care.
Ok, you say you are not pimping Romney, then you might want to change what you are posting in support of him.
Bye bye hoot.....keep on doing what you are doing, not pimping Romney......(ok even typing that made me laugh)

“I’m not sure that makes him erratic in the way some of his colleagues are saying, and with no specific examples.”

Maybe some moderate accused him of something stupid and he gave them a “John King” like smackdown. So they called it erratic, but it was just telling the truth.

I am opposed to contraception. Ideally the American people would agree with Santurm, the Pope, and myself. But in the abscence of such agreement I would love to see the Vatican’s legally will imposed on the American people.

The degree to which the federal governemnt has control over contraception is constitutionally limited. Santorum as President could try to push for legislation banning its inclusion in Medicaid and banning sales across state lines.
