Firebrand Free Republic Founder Endorses Newt Gingrich With Epic Call to Action
Fox News ^ | January 19, 2012 | Fox News

I'm officially endorsing Newt Gingrich for president today. Was going to wait until after Florida, but see no reason to delay. We need Newt to win in South Carolina and Florida to stop any possible momentum building up for the establishment big government, statist, abortionist RINO!!

I like Santorum, but mainly because of his faith. I have no record of him attempting to roll back govt. I have words during campaigns, but he still votes to expand. Less so than Newt or Romney, but still he drives that steamroller, helping pave the way to a European America. If I had to choose from the remaining candidates, flipping a coin would be as effective. I think we need a radical change, Ron Paul is the only one that I think brings that mindset. I don’t believe he can win, but I also think only Romney can.

Romney has been wavering just as badly. The only difference between Newt's platform and Mitt's is that Mitt's doesn't support amnesty and it doesn't support federalized health care. It is laughable that you would trash Romney while embracing a platform that is to the left of his.

Pimping for Romney? Hell no! I'm not supporting either moderate in this race.

Yes, yes, we can see how angry you are about Santorum not being our guy. However, Santorum is the Barney Fife of politics and has no chance in a general election. I’m sure he’s a fine fellow, but that’s as far as it goes.

I have wondered why some of his former colleagues aren’t very supportive, and it could be that he was erratic. But I don’t remember it at the time. It’s what they say now, but consider that they are all protecting their own interests. Maybe they fear Newt because they weren’t loyal to the speaker at the time. I tend to put more weight behind what Dick Cheney says as compared to Jim Talent or Susan Mollinari.

I’m not saying that he wasn’t erratic (unstable or even zany), but I don’t necessarily trust what some former colleageus say. I don’t know what their motive is and I haven’t heard any outrageous examples of his so called erratic behavior.

It’s even more laughable that you don’t have a flipping clue about what you are talking about. You could not give us even one fraction of an honest example of what Newt’s plan and platform is about.

Outside of your vile rhetoric, the only example you can present to this forum, is your own ignorant demagoguery. Which mainly reflects on your own refusal to be honest with yourself.

But Cheney’s comment refers to Gingrich’s role in taking control of the House. It doesn’t speak to his service as Speaker of the House. It doesn’t have anything to do with whether Gingrich’s managerial style is erratic.

Just consider Gingrich’s embrace of anthropogenic global warming, when he appeared with Nancy Pelosi and John (I still have the hat) Kerry and spoke of the grave threat which it posed. He now calls the appearance with Pelois the greatest mistake which he has made in recent years. Maybe he should have thought the issue through a little better.

I don't expect you to take my word for it. Listen to Newt explain it himself:

2011 - Gingrich describes 300 pages of Obamacare bill as 'Pretty Good' and promises to incorporate it into his own healthcare bill

I think most everyone is really sick of “the young hip black guy.”

Rick Perry remains the most authentic conservative of all the candidates, but Newt Gingerich was always my second choice and since Perry left the long and winding trail, I all in for Newt.

LOL!! Good one. I’m snagging that one. He wasn’t as nutty last night, I sort of felt sorry for him. I think he’s winding down, getting tired. He isn’t a spring chicken..

Or put another way- 2400 pages of the Obamacare bill are crap. At least Newt was able to have a positive tone. I don’t think a health care bill forwarded by Newt would look anything like Obamacare.
